the two master cleanses i did , my tongue never got white.
i think perhaps there is a correlation in differences of body chemistries at work .
i have lived most all my life ingesting foods that naturally detox/ even tho i was unaware back then of many toxic subjects/ i also utilised what i knew (then) was helpful.
i was very surprised that my tongues stayed pink.
i am about 90 % vegan fruits nuts legumes etc/ no soy / no fish/ no dairy/i detox pretty much always as a routine of living .. in the sense of watching the waters i drink/ trying to use good food combining and maintaining as alkaline a body as i can. thru various means.
use only good oils/ i have never used high chemicals cleaning/ but very rarely in my life..
instead i have found baking soda, vinegar, salt etc to be great cleaning aides along with tea tree oil/ oil of oregano etc.. adds
whether any of this worked to make that happen i do not know.
i also swish with sesame oil and rinse with baking soda in my mouth then spit / to get toxins out and use tongue scraping etc.. brush my tongue.
i kept waiting to see it go white *smile* but it never did.
my first mc was 11 days
my second was 15. neither time did it go white.
so there are exceptions tho rare i am sure.
when i used the foot detox pads/ i didnot start out with the dark brown that most folks do..
mine was a mossy green/yellowish color..
and i lost my double vision from my head injuries after 1st use.
so that was another area where i did nto fit the *norm* as far as coloration of detox..
as far as when to stop/ i think you have to go with your intuition.
if you are feeling chilled or deep hunger pangs
then it is my opinion that your bodyis signalling youto stop.
remmeber to break easy.
any fast as a rule of thumb requires 1/3 about fast time applied
to gradually breaking it.
the longer you fast/ the longer your *weaning time should be in gradual steps.
as an interesting side note.
i have fasted for as little as one day a week to up to a 38 day
all juice/ vegetable homemade brothes fast...
this lenghty one many years ago was for spiritual reasons , and
i never lost a lb on it and never felt hungry.
but that was the goal.. it was for spiritual/ and for me to have maintained my energies and no wt loss back then to me verified that i was on right path for what i was persoanlly seeking in my life at that time.
so again that is an exception 8)
there is no hard rule/ our bodies are so unique and different.
we can say what happens to the majority/ but also be aware that there are some that are exceptions to every rule of thumb of seemingly normal outward or inward signs
best to you
Peace
