Help me understand my test results plz.
Dr note says Positive AB result. The western blot has only 1 positive band out of 10 and from what I have read you need to have five positive bands for confirmation of LYMES??
So confusing. Referred to infectious disease for further evaluation.
I appreciate any insight- experience.

This is a reply to # 2,247,233Hi I was just diagnosed today with a positive lyme AB. I have been suffering for 7 yrs with no real diagnoses. My dr is sending me for a full lyme panel. This is all new to me so I can't really answer your question.- Re: Lyme test positive? healmyinsides

Some are good with difficult cases most are not.
A good one will start with the thought is that there is a cause or causes-a bad doctor will start out with the thought that you might be uncurable.
