Hello all. I wasn't planning on coming back here for a while, but I'm scared and in pain. Over the past three days, I have woken up to numbness and weakness in both arms and hands. Today is the first day the weakness has not gone away. I am also experiencing debilitating fatigue and anxiety, which I attribute to my period which is due tomorrow.
As a reminder, I am a victim of toxic mold. It is mind boggling how this disease has progressed and everything I have tried has failed.
My recent labs show "normal" standard tests, except for obvious hypothyroidism and low testosterone. I got more specific testing during the summer which shows my high TGF-1, crazy IGGs, hypersensitive pneumonitis, low dopamine...I can only imagine how much worse they are are now.
I am almost certain this is neurological (mold does this to all victims), but before rushing to the ER (they NEVER know what to do with people like me), I am curious if anyone else has gotten an explanation to the symptom. The usual things that come to mind are diabetes, stroke, heart attack, and even MS (thought to be caused by mold). I guess anything is possible, but I'm 32, have low/normal BP and fasting BS, am not even close to overweight (although mold has ruined my body composition)...and my mind is pretty freakin sharp for being so toxic.
I am totally open to suggestions. I've never been so frightened. I hate hospitals as much as most of you, but if things get worse, I will have to be open to Western medicine. I don't want to lose my arms :(

I have read some of your messages. It is a known fact that our body alkalinity ranges between 7.36 to 7.45 pH. We get sick if the body goes outside these numbers, lower pH than 7.36 is considered acidosis and higher pH above 7.45 is considered alkalosis.
It seems to me that when people are continuously taking alkalizing compounds and not taking a break may suffer from alkalosis. Some of the symptoms of Alklosis are as follows:
Confusion (can progress to stupor or coma)
Hand tremor
Light-headedness
Muscle twitching
Nausea, vomiting
Numbness or tingling in the face, hands, or feet
Prolonged muscle spasms (tetany)
Some of the above mentioned symptoms are common with diabetic nerve pain and/or magnesium deficiency. So how do we know what is the cause of your current condition?
First, do a urine pH test. If above 8.0 pH you have alkalosis. This can be treated with breathing in and out of a paper bag and eating acidic foods.
Second, take a Epsom Salt bath, soaking your entire body, neck down in water for 45 minutes. If the muscles relax, numbness, tingling goes away then you have magnesium deficiency, which can easily be treated with fresh fruits and vegetables high in magnesium and magnesium citrate or taurate.
Third, monitor your blood Sugar one hour after eating and two hours after eating. This has to be done for a week to know if your blood Sugar is always high or intermittently high. Better test would be Glucose Tolerence Test, which will measure your insulin response. Also you may want your blood A1C test done. If you are diabetic or prediabetic then we can talk further what to do.

I appreciate your input. The weakness went away after increasing my iron and consuming borax. I also started retaking lypospheric glutathione. I believe the first two were the most important because I have had heavy periods and overlooked getting boron into my diet.
I take plenty of magnesium daily, so what you suggest is helpful but not of concern for me. I have not had an a1c, but my fasting glucose is always around 84, so I'm not concerned about diabetes, although it is clear that I am not utilizing carbs like I used to since being mold poisoned. Diabetes is obviously linked with poor circulation to the extremities, but there are other causes like my own that could possibly stem from neurological issues. Mold deeply affects neurons in the brain.
I have ph tape somewhere, but I always test in the normal range. If I find it, I'd be happy to update you on my status.

So it does seem that your numbness and weakness may be due to neurological issues. Oh, if you are taking high doses of Vitamin C and borax you could be in border line alkalosis. So do check your urine and saliva.
Thanks for offering to help. So I am a born vegetarian and now a raw vegan. I often fast and do my regular liver flushes. I feel good and have no issues except for slight insulin resistance, which luckily my doctor asked me to take when he saw that I have slight belly fat. He was right, my glucose is normal but insulin was on a rise. I am doing quite well, but still not where he wants my numbers to be. In a few months I will have another GTT so I will know how much my numbers have improved. He does three hour test which now a days no one wants to do.
I would like to hear your opinion on this subject.

This is a reply to # 2,295,272I am curious of your blood type. As a type O, I do horribly on a vegan/vegetarian diet. Interestingly, my two friends who don't eat meat are type AB. They both naturally have more muscle mass than me, which I believe allows them to get away with less working out and less protein. In your case, I can't see you, but how do you feel about your natural body composition? When your doctor sees slight belly fat, I can't really picture what he sees. Is he at least in favor of alternative medicine?
I think I mentioned I have very few carbs. Even pre-mold, I'd never have more than 80g per day. Now, I'm attempting to have 30 - 15 pre and post workout. I am able to tell if the carbs are being utilized simply by looking on the mirror to see if I put on muscle. If I'm feeling heavy and bloated, I know I need to cut back and reevaluate my treatment protocol.
I envy how you can do fasting and flushes. I am too sick at this point to fast. The detox is literally unbearable.

This is a reply to # 2,295,302I am B+. Fasting and other natural way of healing is something I've been taught by my parents ever since I was a child SI it is easy for me, bitter, yucky stuff and hard protocols are very easy for me to handle.
Vitamin C is acidic only outside, but after it goes in your stomach it has alkaline effect. Boron, Borax are alkaline so this where too much alkalinity can happen.
Have you tested your urine and saliva first thing in the morning?

This is a reply to # 2,296,278Wow. Your parents taught you that? Amazing. I've learned to handle strict protocols, but it is nearly impossible to handle a panic attack if it occurs while fasting. Before mold I was able to fast on lemon water for DAYS while still being active. I really miss the euphoria...I could use that right now since my Depression got worse in November. I'm just concerned about the weakness coming back from possible anemia. I've been posting on another thread about the possibility of parasites causing this.

This is a reply to # 2,296,937The most euphoric feelings I have had is when I did my first liver flush, it is so hard to believe, but my Depression went away in one day.
The other times I felt slight euphoric when I took my first drop of Iodine and first oil pulling.
Have you done any liver flushes?

This is a reply to # 2,296,939Not hard to believe at all! When the body becomes cleaner and more balanced, we start to return to our natural state - happiness :) When you physically feel great, it is easier to handle the stress in life which might otherwise bring you down.
I attempted a Liver Flush last week, but wasn't very successful. I'm attempting to kill possible parasites at the moment. They say once you do this, Liver Flushes are easier to handle and produce better results.
The only time I for sure know I passed a gallstone was back in 2012 when I was in the moldy apartment. I went to am acupuncturist because I didn't know what was wrong. At first I thought he damaged my system because of the stomach pain, but when I passed this big yellow thing and scooped it from the toilet, I was elated! Unfortunately it didn't happen when I went back to him months later. At that point I was officially sick from mold. I'll never get acupuncture again though. I've become even more sensitive to needles since then. I have had many good acupuncture sessions when I was young for small cyst on my knee. It worked great for me. But we are all different.

Kind of new to the forum but NOT alternative or natural therapy. I am encouraged to find site like this because I have never been satisfied in traditional medicine. I saved my life by not following any advice. I am not saying that you should, it is what works for the individual but medicine today has all kinds of mistakes and disfunctional systems like with hospital infections, over prescribing meds, sugury and on and on. The true holistic or natural doctor knows not to concentrate on just a disease specifically unless that tells us about the symptoms , remedy or source. Make sense? I do not want to know. About your mold issue. I am so sick from it (fungus) but am starting to get it under CONTROL. I barely started using grapefruit and it works. I do not need in vitro vivo or any kind of advice to tell me what works. I found it , tried the remedy and it does what I want. Period. You did not mention rashes, mold/ fungus always does something to the skin, I learned. If you have one use the inner white part of the peel (in addition to eating the fruit /meat) and rub on your skin. My red rash on theigh that would not go away is 85% gone. Think you are pre-diabetes? start alternative medicine and never give up. That's what I did. Good afternoon , glad I responded to the right thread! Reqiemshroom.

I try to post what I can, but I do not always have time to mention everything. I have experienced rashes, but thankfully not often. The most frightening one was from direct reexposure in the apartment 3 years ago. I developed a rash over my eye and scalp accompanied by a migraine for 6 days. That was the last time I ever went in the apartment again. Other than that, I feel my minor rashes (or just itchy hands) were due to ingesting the Pharma Sugar free Cholestyramine Questran. I highly suggest anyone taking it should have it compounded chemical free!
I am proud of you for taking your health matters into your own hand and succeeding. I agree that testing is sometimes useless. The popular mycotoxin test is $700 - outrageous. Fungus is fungus. I do however think testing is VERY useful for vitamin/mineral levels and hormones.

I am on a blitz , so to speak , trying to get everyone I can find blogging , chatting and talking about health to start taking pink grapefruit and report back. I mean eating the whole fruit -less rind or peel. I am doing wonderful since starting but what do my results really say? Do do. I'll post some pics of the truth when I get chance to.

This is a reply to # 2,295,198I was clear up at 7.9 ph when I finally got some more strips (doh!) And oh yeah--the feet/lower leg tingling gets down right painful. But the rest, I didn't get, although the over alkalinity probably made the muscle spasms from my stroke worse, since my ph balance is finally back in the good range and I still get the spasms.
But never weak arms and hands. It sounds like she really needs a good chiropractor. It's amazing how a couple pinched nerves can really make you weak.
While I took the direct route to wellness via deparasiting and killing the worm's infections and never did all the fiddle fuddle 'probably will kill you in the end' methods I see espoused here, it sounds like she did though, starting with a fast. Which I think really aren't helpful for anything but a vision quest or something. But it got the mismanagement ball rolling.
I thinks she's just screwed up her body so bad with all that fiddle fuddling, it doesn't know if it's coming or going, and is falling apart because of trying to compensate for all the crap she's taken to try to fix one thing which breaks something else (cat in the hat style).
Too bad bodies don't have a reset button. She may end up serving as a cautionary tale. See, if you keep screwing around with this supplement and then that other supplement and then yet another miracle cure substance, and another (making the pharmaceutical cartel richer and richer), you eventually screw up your body so bad, it kills you.
Just as the cartel wants after they've gotten as much of your money as possible.

This is a reply to # 2,297,879I think I have a mold problem in my head, its sensitive on the scalp and travels from the ears where I get ringing in the ears and dizziness, to different parts of the head with sharp temporary pains at different times then goes away only to return at a later time.
I put castor oil on the head and ears as it is an anti fungal, it helps but not as much as a cure just treats symptoms temporarily.
I have ordered the Colloidal Silver @500 ppm and will try that. Also garlic oil. This nebulizer sounds interesting, and I am beginning very small doses of Iodine again though the herx or die off from it is still strong for me.

This is a reply to # 2,298,083Yes, I think that will work. A funnel & hose to your mouth will allow you to breath in the mist. However I suspect that you might need to use more silver than the model I recommended. Mine provides a nice mist with only 2 tablespoons of liquid. But do try it, even if you use more CS, it won't go to waste.

I am just so confused that I am unsure of anything rite know so trying too stick with what I can see with my own two eyes & the facts.I was doing this daily but since the 30 day anti-parasitic run my tests have shown i did not need this so I still do a test weekly, mainly my ears
