This is a reply to # 2,372,644Sure I will fast with you, I started today as well, and have failed in the past too. I know what is like to feel they way you described, that is me as well. And Acne as well too. Fasting I am sure will make us less depressed, make us very happy, and have clearer skin if patient, which you sound like me, possibly inpatient, only because we are desperate for some quick positive outcomes of fasting I hope you post everyday!!!! :) p.s. if you're 16, there's a pretty good chance you are not overweight, and 40 days is a long fast, just want to be sure you stay safe :)

This is a reply to # 2,372,669Yass! i rlly need 2 come on more often, Imma start checking this site everyday now, im so excited to go thru this fast but yes also really impatient. I kinda wish i was a bit over weight just so i can go for a longer fast and not be worried but maybe it means itll take less time to heal?? idk. Im hoping fasting with a buddy who knows exactly how I feel will make it easier. anyways, excited to hear from you!!! c:

My dry fast is 1 hr away, my Water Fast is 6 hrs old.
I had 2 meals - last night and this afternoon finishing all the food in the house that can go bad.
Fasting without the guilt.
Let it not be said that Srinath let an onion go bad on his watch.

This is a reply to # 2,372,845For now I can control that cos my wife and son are in India. Which is why I decided I was going to do the cleanse fast now, will be my last fast for a while atleast.
12hr dry and 18 hr water in I weighed in @ 169.8. A bit heavier than I had hoped, but since the first 4 days are the hardest, I think I'll be fine, just fast till true hunger returns. Or all the grabs of fat are all gone.
Oddly I have less grabbable fat @ 169 than I did @ 149 a few months ago. maybe my skin is getting tighter and hanging less. Or maybe its an illusion.
Either way, I need to get it all out.

This is a reply to # 2,372,940Yea, I figure I had ~3-4 lb worth when I was 141-142 lb. Now @ 169 there is still 3-4lb of that. Plus all the rest of the 28lb is hiding somewhere.
Yea I know 3-4 lb intestine contents, 2-3 lb bacteria, 5-10 lb water etc etc and some fat.
Anyway 24 hr fast is long done. In fact hour 30 going strong now.
Going to keep at it till all the fat cant be grabbed.

This is a reply to # 2,373,077Almost finishing day 3 and I weighed in 160.8lb. The fast 10lb weight loss is almost done. Now the actual fight begins.
Actually I would likely get to 155 or so pretty fast. Its more like 10% than 10lb.

This is a reply to # 2,373,176I am actually not doing as well now as I did on my earlier fasts. The first day which I did dry went 10lb.
BTW I am also craving a probiotic heavy curd rice. I may have to fight it for another day and hope it goes away.

This is a reply to # 2,373,208I caved. Made it to hour 75 or so. I saw mold growing on my home made yogurt and just got mad.
I ate a 8oz of it and fish with chia, mayo and habanero and am eating walnuts as I type, and these walnuts are going bad inspite of being in the fridge.
I have to finish all the food, I cant be waiting for the fungus to eat it.
The other 24 oz of yogurt are going to get eaten tomorrow, by itself. I need the probiotic.
I also had some dark chocolate and peanut butter. No meal is complete without peanuts or peanut butter and I was out of peanuts.

This is a reply to # 2,373,249I have to finish that yogurt tonight, which means I am making buttermilk dressing and salad or having curd rice. Not sure yet.
In any case I can not end my eating with either of those meals. So I will be making a huge cici's dinner run Friday evening Or for lunch. I hope to not gain too much.
