I don't know if is the right place to post this but I am looking for some information on parasites. I'll start at the beginning. End of Nov (2016) I noticed movement in the toilet. Due to its big size and the fact I eat sushi a lot, it was determined that it was a broad fish tape worm. I took medications (took it three times) to clear it out, the process/symptoms were rough to expel but it just proved that it was working. From then on I saw large pieces of the worms in my stool, but they were not moving. My stool was tested two times last spring and both times it was negative for eggs. However, the same symptoms (bloating, increased gas, heartburn, bowel movements were mixed between constipation and soft narrow stools but felt irregular, tiredness) kept occurring. I also noticed that there was smaller, thin moving pieces in my stool, believing to be pinworms. I took medications (over the counter) for that probably 5 times between winter 2016 to Oct 2017. Some symptoms are still there but I am not sure if I am seeing like dead pieces in my stool or if its something else (white small pieces). It's not in every bowel movement (maybe 1/4). Previously, I did have itchy feels with pinworms but I don't have any itchiness anymore. But I still have bloating, heartburn, seems like increased mucus in the back of my throat, no longer feeling exhausted as I did before aka more energy, trouble using the bathroom with ease, also developed hemorrhoids through this entire process, feeling like need to use the bathroom a lot but can't, etc. None of my friends or family (who i live with) have experinced this/caught parasites off of me. Is it possible to have developed IBS through this process of having parasites or is it a continuation of parasites? I feel like the Doctor thinks I am hypochondriac or something because I am so uncertain if what I am seeing movement in my stool or not, which could be a possibility since this is not pleasant to through and I am nervous about still having parasites. My family also are kind of tired of my worries, so I have been keeping them to myself more. But i don't know, i just don't feel right. If I have a averge to below average diet, would that affect IBS like this? Should I do a alt. health cleanse just to balance out my body and what would that be? I heard applie cider vingear can help and garlic. Any type of advice/similar feelings/anything really would be very appreciated!
