It sounds like pinworms. Pinworms come out at night from the anus (usually between 11pm and 1am) and lay their eggs on the buttocks. Just been through this one with my daughter, so know all about it. They are small, threadlike worms that can often be mistaken for lint or pieces of toilet paper.

To get rid of them you have some options. You can do a regular parasite cleanse and/or you can take Pin-X or Reese's Pinworm medicine (over-the-counter drugs).
Also of note, if one family member has it, chances are that they all do so you need to treat anyone in the household. I used Reese's for the whole family (one time dose) and started a complete parasite cleanse for myself. I also just ordered humaworm for the whole family to get any strays and other types of parasites.

Another thing to note is that you need to do some heavy cleaning of your living environment in order to get rid of as many microscopic eggs as possible. Don't sweep! Wet mop the floors, vacuum the rugs and floors, wash all the bedding, underwear, and bed clothes in hot water if at all possible and dry on high in your dryer. Pinworm eggs can live up to 3 weeks without a host. Also, when you do the parasite cleanse and/or Pin-x it takes about a week to kill them. So, you need to continue to cleanse your house (changing bedsheets at least every other night, damp mopping the floors, and remember to wash your hands often). Another helpful thing is to cover the buttocks and all surrounding areas in vaseline before bed. The females get stuck in the vaseline and die and cannot release their eggs. I did this with my children each night for a week.

For itching until they die, you can take an Epsom Salt bath at night which helps.
Also, I used a paper towel and wetted it with collodial silver and put it in my panties - kills and stops the itching till their gone.

An itchy anus is a classic symptoms of candida. Either you are feeding them or killing them off. I never had that symptoms until I started killing them off so I know it can be die off also. What is weird is that I had it only one night but it literarally woke me up and was very annoying. Occassionally I do have it during the day for a few minutes here and there. I would say if it was getting worse instead of better it might NOT be die off and might be something you are eating that is feeding them. Are you eating fruits? Because any Sugar will stir them up good and give you all kinds of symptoms. Assuming it ws candida that you have in the first place since you did post in the Candida Forum .

You might try an enema. I use just plain warm water , but some on the board tout the use ACV ( apple cider vinegar) and claim that is kills lots of candida. You could try a probiotci enema as well. Eat plenty of yogurt.

For itching, in the past I have used Tucks medicated pads or something equivilant. It might only give temporary relief but might help you sleep. You will need to get rid of the source to completely get rid of it.

If you have candida a raw diet may not be the best thing especially if you are eating fruit whihc is big no no. Diet alone will not cure most people of candida, you will need to take a good antifungal like caprylic acid, or something like GSE, raw garlic etc. As a mtter of fact there was an interesting post below from someone who claimed ot have killed their candida using a garlic enema by crushing up the garlic and I believe simmering it in water than removing the garlic adn using the water.

I have the same problem after bowel movement. In your case, if it is bad at night, it sounds like a possible enterobius vermicularis infection. [pinworm] I would check as they will be 'just' visible to the naked eye. You will not see the eggs. There is an effective drug for this available at the drug store.
If it is protozoa, I would start on a Black-Walnut -woormwood-clove powder tea. Sip it during the entire day for a week or 2. This should get rid of all sorts of bad stuff. Just be sure to start taking probiotics--or goats yogurt--to rebalance your flora. Shroom

I had severe anal itching for over 7 years. Tried everything on the market and had 2 surgeries... nothing worked. Then 3 months ago I tried a product called PRANICURE...it changed my life. I would go to a doctor to get tested for worms/ parasites first. If that is not the issue, then it's likely the way more common problem of Pruritus Ani. This essentially means you just have a chronic itchy bum being caused by any number of things. There are a few products out there that treat Pruritus Ani--by far the best one out there is called Pranicure. You can only buy it online. I used to wake up in the middle of the night to scratch but after using pranicure for about a week and a half I can sleep through the night again. I'd definitely recommend you try ordering some.

Ask your doctor for viaderm K.C It worked wonder for me It has nystatin and two antibiotic. you have to rub in affected atleast 4 times a day to prevent regrowth. IT has significantly decreased my also on the candida diet. Trust me some doctors are super lazy to find the answer
