First off I would like to tell you that I myself was a person that was suffering from worts since I was 16, I am 21 now and wart free. When I was 16 the warts first appeared on my left leg, I had three warts that ran vertically along my tibia(bone). At that age I didnt really care and it was barely noticeable. Over time and through out the years I realised that they have gotten a little bigger and now there was one on my hand. It didnt effect me much to do something about it so i just left it alone and went about my business and then to my suprise the single wart on my hand started to spread.

Thats when I said to myself that I have to do something about this or it will get out of hand. So the first treatment I tried was the over the counter Dr. sholls wart remover with salicylic acid and all that did was burn like hell and then it left a scar but the wart was still present. The second method of action I took was covering it up with duct tape because I heard that if you sufficate it that will make it disappear that was a fail method also. The third and most promising was a visit to the dermatologist and having him freeze it off with liquid nitrogen. Now to my suprise it didnt hurt as much compared to the acid that dr. sholls gave me. The liquid nitrogen treatment was a sucess but..... the blister that came after the liquid nitrogen was administered was very unsightly and it took very long to heal but that too only made (SOME) warts disippear. My dermatologist told me that warts in certain places were harder to get rid of then others. That led to more and more expensive visits which only got rid of a couple of warts.

Now for the cure, I came across a website(http://www.lacetoleather.com/warts.html)when I was doing some research on apple cyder vinegar and its uses, thats a whole other story. On that site they have a page on safe natural cures and one of the topics was warts, so I took a look at it and read that Warts are an external sign of an internal potassium deficiency. The real cure (and prevention) is to eat enough foods that contain potassium. At first I didnt really think that a potassium deficiency was the cause of my warts but I gave it a try so since I work at a grocery store I ate what I knew had the most potassium in it and that my friends was the world famous banana. I started eating lots of bananas so many that it became my meals through out the day, I would literally eat bananas until I got full. After a while I started to get bad gas so I cut my intake of bananas to like 3 a day and thats nothing compared to what I was doing before. Now you have to take into consideration that its not going to work immeately just like with everything it takes time so dont expect results right off the bat. But after a couple of weeks my warts started to shrink and when more time passed with continued potassium intake the warts disappeared WITH NO SCARS!!! The only scars I got were caused by liquid nitrogen and the acid from Dr. Sholls.

The last message I would like to leave you with is that you dont have to just eat bananas, there are lots of fruits that have a high content of potassuim in it.
