Hi Nicole,
We had a great Dr's visit! New doctor of course so I was a little apprehensive...never know what kind of fight that you get into. However, She actually asked me 'if' I chose to vaccinate today. I told her I had some issues with it and that I was still doing research on the subject. She said that she was really conservative in her view on
vaccination as well, and that she felt that there were many of the new ones that she didn't necessarily think were needed, but she did believe that there were a few that were beneficial to have. Menangitis for instance, which I do agree with. I told her of the study out of Japan that recommends waiting until 24 months to vaccinate...She said that she was happy continue our discussion on the matter. I am so relieved that she feels this way
I'm still wading throught the book that I have too, and I do have the same concerns that you do about the validity of certain ones. I think that informing ourselves on the risks and benefits of each vaccine and then deciding whether or not to get them is the way to go right now.
I also wonder about the feasibility of requesting that the ones that you decide to have are administered individually instead of in these combination form (3 at a time like the MMR etc)that they do right now. I am also going to ask for the product sheets for the vaccines to hopefully find out whether they still contain heavy metals like murcury.
