well unfortunatly Kevin Trudeau does not want you to know about these cures either!!!!! this book was a major disappointment as it seems only to be a platform for mr trudeau to bitch about the u.s. govt. and the fda. when he finishes whining about the govt. and fda he finally tells you that they wont allow him to give out any info on natural cures in this book......but for $9.95 monthly or $200.00 lifetime membership he "will" give you the info he promised on his website!!!! i have retuned the book for a refund but have lost the $10.00 shipping and handling fee. im sure he is counting on people to be too lazy to bother returning the book for their money. this is called theft, and i personally believe mr. trudeau should be put behind bars for building up the hopes of people with serious health problems only to deliver NOTHING. P.S. please put this somewhere that people can see so they dont waste their time and money. thanks, kevin

"did" make the book sound sooooo good. I really wanted it. But
I kept thinking, "what does THIS man know"? "HE" used to be
on the other side of the desk interviewing "alternative doctors"
who had written THEIR books. So I "knew" he had no real
background himself in "studies" that would make him know much
more than the rest of us.
And...when "he" was interviewed...he just had that "shyster"(sp?)
"air" about him.
If he's wanting you to join a monthly club...he's in it to make
money...trust me! :-) kathryn

This is a reply to # 608,667I too was impressed with his infomercial - but then did a search online and looked up his book at amazon.com and read the reviews. They are terrible - so we didn't even buy the book!
Other people seem to be able to write informative books on healing and health without having to resort to these (IMHO) money making tactics. When I say this - I don't mean the book but the references in his book to his website that you have to pay to access.

This is a reply to # 608,669Actually his book is really good...it's just like a huge book report. He has taken information that he has compiled from other books and has layed it out in one big book. I guess the bad thing is...he is making money of his book report. But seriously, I liked it a lot. I wont be going to his website to join or anything but it is a good start to people who don't know where or how to start living well. Kathryn, if you'd like, I can copy the disks and send you a set...there are 12 of them...it's no problem and then you can let me know if I'm way off base! :)

mean by disks? Do they "play" on the computer...or like a

Hi Ev... fyi, you should be aware that most of the negative, 1-star reviews at Amazon have the same "hateful" tone to them (to the point of being ridiculous). I even saw the same 1-star review that was posted TWICE by two supposedly different users. So they're suspicious. The review system on Amazon isn't perfect and is prone to abuse by this kind of concerted effort. Therefore, take most of it with a grain of salt and learn that sometimes drawing your own conclusions is the way to go. At least check it out at the library or flip through it at the local bookstore.
In my opinion, the book is a good starting point for anyone not familiar with an organic/natural/active/non-toxic lifestyle. I got great tips and healthy habits from the book as well as references to great resources to further my education. A great tip he suggested was using a shower filter.. now I've never even thought about that; now I'm using one and am showering in peace. With just little things like that here in there, you'll see the QUALITY of your life improve.
The book has been an invaluable jumpstart for myself and my FAMILY. However, I haven't subscribed to his website and don't need to. The book provided the kick I needed to learn more on my own and start being more aware of what I put into my mouth and in my environment.

This is a reply to # 609,903The book does devote chapters to discuss his viewpoint of the what goes behind the scenes with the FDA, pharma's, etc. Let's hope he's making it all up, but if not, it's good to know in case we want to do something about it, like activism.

As his book states, they are probably "plants" from any of the big pharma, big oil, big corporations, big govt. all aimed at discrediting trudeau. Either that, or persons totally naieve to believe that the "Big" guys are not driven solely by $$$$$$$$$. I support him. He speaks for the little guy. Not to mention that even his vague references to what can make or keep you healthy are common sense approaches to living. I hope he wins. I hope he is able to go public at some point" with what he knows.

This is a reply to # 608,679I was just reading in Amazon.com the reviews about "Cures They Don't Want You To Know About" and " Kevin Trudeau 's Mega Memory System". Remember that infomercial about 10 or so years ago where he remembers the names of the people in the audience and has kids with learning disabilites remember math like mathameticians? He got in trouble with the FTC for making false unbelievable claims. They took him to court and a judge said he was never to sell on an infomercial again, or to sell consumer's personal information to other businesses to advertise to them. Kevin has also spent a couple years in prison. This guy is a total fraud.
Now Trudeau is on this "show" like it's a simple interview about promoting his new book. It's not. It's another infomercial, but he's calling it something else because he's gotten in loads of trouble already for scamming people. Do a google search or check out his reviews on Amazon.com. I couldn't believe what I was reading.
