Why can't we use ReaLemon?

My husband asked me why we're not supposed to use reconstituted lemon juice (such as ReaLemon or something), and I said, "Good question" and thought I'd ask on here in case someone might know the reason(s).

The real lemons (as opposed to the ReaLemon!) have living enzymes in them, and lots of vitamins and minerals that are essential to keep you going during the cleanse, just the like maple syrup supposedly has good stuff in it. Here's a link to an online copy of the book, which I'm sure explains it far better than I ever could!
