I use it a few times a week to pop popcorn. I use a mix of red palm, safflower, expeller pressed coconut oil, a touch of virgin coconut oil, and olive oil. It makes fantastick popcorn and gives me plenty of vitamin E.
Red Palm oil is excellent stuff. I use in cooking all the time. It is rich in Vitamin A and the flavor is quite pleasing. as stated earlier, it does stain if you put it on your skin. What I do is put it on in the morning so that it soaks in by the end of the day. Palm is also one of the most widely used oils in the world.
