I suffer from hormone imbalance (high estorgen)which has lead to many problems like really bad PMS, depression, water retention, fatigue and blood Sugar level imbalance....basically this problem has turned my life around and I'm really sick of suffering from this. As a result of Depression it has lead me to a lot of weight gain. I am a stress eater and I have turned to food everytime I get upset. And the food I eat is mostly junk, high in Sugar and fat. I've also become very anti-social and feel like I need to hide myself from everyone. I feel like I really need to cleanse myself inside and out. So I read about these forums and did some research on fasting and the benefits of healing. If Water Fasting can help me lose weight and heal my body, I think my life would be so much easier. I really need support on this, so if anyone wants to join me, please! I plan to fast 10 days on water only and than build up slowly from diluted juice to juice and than raw fruits and vegetables. I hope to lose 10-15 lbs. Any support or fasting buddies, plz reply.Advertisement

This is a reply to # 684,692i REALLY want to start a fast as well. It is now the 27th...i had some coffee this morning..so i think it will be water for me the rest of the day! I am looking to kick a few habbits..as well as lose about 15 to 20 lbs. Most importantly..i was to get rid of my caffein addiction and sugar! next on my list is weight loss, i feel so much better eating naturaly...i think a ten day fast is JUST what i need! i have done alot of reading and am now ready, care if i join!??- Re: Can water fasting heal hormones ... I'll be glad to have you join me:) So this is my first day as well (27th) In the morning I had a lot of energy so I exercised for 2 hours. I drank a lot of water the whole day, feeling ok so far. Now it's 7:30 pm so I'm starting to feel the mental hunger pangs. But i'm telling myself to forget it. I decided not to weight myself till i'm finished fasting because I'm scared the results will discourage me.
I hope the fast helps kick your caffein addiciton. I also have a Sugar addiciton. I have such a sweet tooth. So I hope to eat more healthy after this whole experience.
So how are you doing so far?

well today was kinda my half start...since i decided to start mid morning and had already had coffee...so im starting full force water tomarrow(monday). Wish me luck(and wishing you luck)....im gonna need it! :) i am looking SO forward to no cravings!! not looking forward to the horrible headaches im gonna have from withdrawl...but its worth it i assume. i will do the same thing...i will weigh in again at 7 days.. only reason being...i know i wont last till ten! meaning...i wont be able to stay off my scale that long! lol

MoreThis is a reply to # 684,692Estrogen dominance is one health problem I have been able to bring under control. There are a lot of things that can be done to correct a hormonal imbalance. Fasting is not recommended at the beginning of the program, in fact it can make things worse in some women. If your fast does not work out I will be glad to share my information with you on an appropriate forum. With the help of my Naturopath and months of research, I no longer have night sweats, hot flashes, PMS depression, heavy periods and other symptoms. I still have occasional migraines, but they are not nearly as severe.

This is a reply to # 684,707Sounds good, but I have to finish through with my fast first. Hopefully it will work out. If it doesn't help the hormone balance issue, than at least I will get some weight-loss out of the fast which will boost my confidence.

MoreThis is a reply to # 684,692hey girl...im on the same boat with you...im experiencing the same problems with you...it's really getting on my nerves...i use to have flawless complexion till 2 months ago i can hardly recognise myself...i consulted a dermalogist and im on Antibiotics and some tropical creams...it's clearing up...so much better...but i wanna Water Fast for further improvements...my breakout was due to hormones imbalance.im a complusive eater too...i tend to turn to junk food when im feeling down which was when my breakout started...i gain like 10lbs in 2 mths!!!my face is bloated...i can still squeeze in my clothes but it's like THE HULK wearing size small...i feel ashame and awful...so i decided to take up the fast...im officially starting my fast tomorrow...hope to hear from you soonme at [email protected]Advertisement
