Hi all,
A friend of mine has Hemophilia A, less than 2% clotting factor. He takes factor-8 only when he is hurt. I am wondering, has anyone heard of any natural alternatives to taking factor-8? Such as, is there an herb or anything that has similar properties, or dare I ask, has anyone heard of actually HEALING this disease? Yes, I know its genetic, but I reserve hope anyway.

This is a reply to # 721,929Are you nuts?? Just kidding... your very concerned for your friend and if you knew that hemophilia is a force to be reckoned with, you wouldn't be asking that question.
So as a mother, aunt and daughter of hemophiliac's, herbs or supplements wouldn't help replace the missing blod clotting factor, any better than placing a band-aid over a crack in a cruise ship that is about to sink.
