So my candida protocol is going fine, but my accupuncturist says my vaginal/urethral pain is not following a normal candida-cleanse pattern. I'm going in for a pap and culture next week, but she's thinking I probably have some kind of "vulvodynia" which is vague to begin with. I've pretty much had the same yeast infection for the past year, and I'm finally getting it cultured next week, but I've read some stuff linking vulvodynia with chronic yeast infections...the gynecology forum didn't respond, so I'm posting here to see if anyone has a thought. Anyone experienced this? It's usually either burning or throbbing pain throughout the area, including urethra. I've been negative for UTI several times. I've been on a solid candida protocol for about six weeks, and I'm told it's working well. And yet it hurts...
-just a whim to bring it up at all.
thanks-
