Yes you can. My 20 day juice fast, i didn't know about lax tea, salt water flush, etc and still did fine. Paul Bragg did many MANY fast without all that stuff and he did fine, lived to be 95.

You do not have to Colon Cleanse during your fast, no. I only did it because it helped me, but I did not HAVE to do it.

I DO, however, suggest that you do not start a fast already constipated. That will only make your post-fast bowel movement all the more difficult to pass.
