But JCrows is repackaged from another source; they do not 'mix it up' on the premises (at least that's what I've read on CZ posts). It could have easily been poured from a bottle that said "not for internal use".

We have all (those that looked around) seen USP grades (and other grades) of the same exact chemicals with the same exact ratios in bottles with labels that say:

One bottle says "not for internal use"
Another bottle says "for internal use"

The ONLY way to know, is to be sure that the correct ratio was used, and the grade of chemicals that you desire.

a purity grade is a purity grade. it must be that pure to get that grade or certification. there is no "human consumption" differentiation. they will all tell you its poison to escape any liability whatsoever. jcrows is an exception and he is taking a risk. i do not count on him being a steady source. i see it more like a gathering of names and a big red light when he reaches a certain level of product flow. you can bet someone is watching like a hawk.

a sole source is insane. we need to open this up and find the product we want at a resonable price and buy bulk. you know jcrow is with his quadruple digit markup.

I AM sorry I offended you; my intent was NOT to offend you - it was to show others the truth about the various grades/chemicals used in Lugol's, the 'recipes' and how simple it is to tell 'what's what'...and to try to instill confidence by a 'lack of fear based on knowledge'. (or something like that)

I realize/d that you have a specific need (your fabulous healing salve/cream) for only the purest of Lugol's (something I feel is a good thing). However it seemed to me that you were depending upon various 'people who said' rather relying upon your own ability to 'put it all together'. I felt that you were underestimating your intelligence/ability to comprehend, and I truly felt it was scaring others (and it was/did scare others, as was evidenced by the several emails I received after your/my post).

NOBODY (absolutely NOBODY!) has worked harder than you providing information regarding iodine. Yes, I DO know that..and I am amazed and sincerely appreciative for your selflessness (and that's NOT bs). I too, have spent quite a bit of time (not NEARLY as much as you)...but that fact does not make either of us flawless, eh?

That sentence is/was my WHOLE deal. I KNOW you are educated; I respect your education; I KNOW that you can/could, do now comprehend chemical grading & Lugol's formulas...what got me 'going' was that you were relying upon someone ELSE to tell you 'what was what' and you were posting 'alarming' posts about 'grades of Lugol's' (that I perceived were scaring people)...when you could have taken a bit of time, studied it a bit, figured it out, and posted confidently in a manner that wouldn't have frightened/concerned.

Am I the big 'wombat sherrif'? No I'm not, but I sure took that tone...and for that I really am sorry. I didn't want anybody to be scared; I wanted everybody to know that this 'chemical thing' is within EVERYONE'S ability to understand; I want people to become self-sufficient, confident and self-assured.

I'm exhausted from this whole time period; I KNOW that if we were all in a room where we could see each other, 'read' each other and hear the inflections/see the facial expressions, none of us would EVER misunderstand each other. (Of course, I'm not including the beligerent rude %¤#&!§-s in that picture, lol, whomever they may be). Would we always agree? smirk, hardly. But I doubt things would ever degrade to the point they can/do on a keyboard and a monitor...there's just TOO much chance for huge misunderstandings and erroneous assumptions. And with our strong desire to make sure everybody gets the "best" knowledge/information/iodine, mixed with the fact that we cannot be together to truly understand where we're all 'coming from', things like this happen.

I'm sorry this happened, and for whatever I did/said that offended you. I can't be sorry that I was worried that people would be frightened, and I can't be sorry that I was irritated at you (for what I thought was you underestimating your abilities). I promise, if I ever find reason to disagree with you again, I'll do my damnedest to not come across like I did before. (is that how you spell damnedest?).
