Hi I'm sorry to hear that you're suffering from social anxiety. I know how you feel I use to suffer with this along with panic attacks, Depression and then a panic disorder which was awful, so I completely understand how important it is to you to find something that works quickly rather than taking a few years! Have you evaluated your diet to begin with? I noticed a dramatic decrease in the intensity of my social anxiety when I started to eat as healthy and clean as I could and when I started to exercise every other day. Exercise really does work wanders both physically and mentally! Meditation has really helped me too and so has yoga which I go to at my local sports centre you should try them both out. You don't even have to go to a sports centre you can just stay in the comfort of your own home and follow a yoga routine on YouTube and with meditation you can research a few techniques online pick one that suits you and then just practice doing that for 15-20 minutes once a day and then try up it to twice a day and aim to do it for longer than 20 minutes as you get better with time. Meditation can even help you to identify the main cause or causes of your social anxiety. Another thing to try is lavender essential oil which you can just inhale directly or diffuse in the air. It is a nerve tonic and treats migraines, depression, headaches, anxiety, emotional stress and nervous tension. So you could inhale/diffuse once or a few times a day to help with the anxiety. It also aids in digestion so a good idea is to diffuse it after a meal, but do what suits you best. L-tyrosine is also REALLY great for social anxiety it is an amino acid that is naturally occurring in food and the brain, it balances your dopamine, I use the brand Hard Rhino, I put two tablespoons (but to begin with start with one) in a glass of water and juice first thing in the morning. It gives you energy too and has been found to help with addictions even cravings like Sugar craving addictions!
