I have been reading everything I can get my hands on with regard to AF. This is all new to me too. Google Adrenal Fatigue and you find lots of wonderful info. Detoxing is part of it. Diet is important. De-stressing is crucial. Getting quality sleep, and there are supplements you can take also. I have started to follow an eating pattern recommended in various websites. It has only been a couple of days for me so far and this process can take months, even up to a year to correct. My hair hasn't stopped falling yet. It has gotten really bad. I am feeling pretty good physically apart from the hair loss and I am hopeful that I can reverse it, but it is a slow process.
If I were you, I wouldn't try to cleanse or detox too quickly. I suspect that doing that only made my own situation worse. Heavy cleansing and detox can add more stress to the body and stress is the worse thing in the world for AF.
