Be aware that a longer (over ten day) fast does take longer to break.
A classic break:
Eat one whole apple in the morning and a very SMALL bowl of raw veggie salad at lunch, and continue to drink your regular juices.
Second day, soak prunes or figs for breakfast, along with the soaking water. Small salad for lunch. Homemade vegetarian vegetable soup for dinner, minimal salt. Two apples eaten between meals. Continue to drink juices.
Third day same as second, but add a cup of plain yogurt and a few raw nuts. Increase salad at lunch, add a boiled or baked potato. Have a slice of good whole grain bread with a little butter with your soup for dinner, perhaps a small slice of cheese.
Continue Third day, gradually adding other foods (clean, healthy foods of course). Be sure to stay well hydrated.
Continue your break until your digestion is well established.
The classic vegetarian veggie soup is super easy to make, and I have eaten it for SIX MONTHS at a whack (breaking a 60 day fast) and STILL love it! Here's how I make mine:
Cut up three potatoes, four carrots, four stalks of celery. Cover with pure water and bring to a simmer. Simmer til ALMOST tender, then add a whole chopped onion, 2-3 cloves chopped fresh garlic, a can of diced tomatoes and a small can of tomato paste. Turn off heat and add frozen green beans and peas to stop cooking.
I like to sprinkle each bowl with cayenne pepper.
