hello runningblind, I have done a flush, a couple different ones actually, and plan to do another one, and I have adrenal issues. I did a
Hulda Clark flush about two months ago. I had some gallbladder issues arise, and they were calling for the flush. I was nervous, because I didn't know how I would react in terms of possibly worsening my adrenal symptoms that I have worked so hard to improve. After the flush, I definitely was drained, but I don't beleive I suffered any big setback with the adrenals which was nice. I am going to actually do another one this weekend. I did need to wait a long time to do another one, to let my body rest up and be ready again. I had a good flush, got lots of green stones, but I also had what i believe to be a stone stuck between the liver and gallbladder, which is why i need to do another one. Hope to heck this will do the trick.
I also, tried the Tetse egg/lime flush. It was nice and gentle, and i feel it helped a bit, but it did not get any stones out. You might try that one and see how it works, some people love it and it really is much easier on the body overall.
I would not be doing the flushes if i didn't really, really need them, due to the adrenal situation. I have read, and do believe, that most times a flush or cleanse is the wrong thing for the adrenals, because the release of toxins into your system can be a major stressor, and will directly engage the adrenals. they need to rest and restore.
that being said, it's up to how you feel. I would not have done a flush a year or even two years ago when i was at my worst. but i have made major strides and was pretty confident about it. If you have done a flush before then you know what it entails and how your body reacts to them. it seems some people, with normal adrenal function, can get pretty wiped out by them, while others can so 10 in a row every two weeks and be ok.
