I just wanted to share that I've recently started making my own frozen yogurt - it's easy and good!

    Ingredients:
    1 quart plain yogurt
    3-4 ripe peaches
    Stevia

First you strain your plain yogurt 2 hours (I use organic whole milk yogurt but lowfat will work). This will reduce the yogurt solid down to a little over half a quart. You throw out the liquid that is extracted and keep the solid. Then you chop up several very ripe peaches and puree with the yogurt and some stevia, to taste. Chill, then pour into ice cream maker. Once it thickens (20-30 minutes), add diced chunks of peach, process a few more minutes. Serve and enjoy!

I made your frozen yogurt with mango and honey and it came out very tart. I wonder if we should not add some milk in it to lighten the tart. But either way it was extremely healthy and nice.

If you are going to add milk, then you might as well just not strain the yogurt instead. I think milk will make it more "watery".

I think a lot has to do with the sweetness of the fruit you use. Fully ripe peaches are VERY SWEET. I made this with blackberries and even with stevia and a little xylitol it was very tart! (but still good)

I do not think mango is quite as sweet as ripe peaches. Plus honey is not as sweet as stevia so you will need to add quite a lot of honey.

Also I think adding 1 Tablespoon of regular sugar can help take the "edge" off. Obviously some people wouldn't want to do that but it isn't much.

I am making different batches, playing around and experimenting. It's fun! It may not be a health food but it isn't so unhealthful as regular ice cream, and I LOVE ice cream!
