"Marijuana Syndromes"--first thoughts on a book by John Mini
I met a man at the Pacific Symposium 2012 who has written a book called "Marijuana Syndromes." John Mini has written a major work. He told some very interesting stories.
One was that it is known among growers that the plant starts to look like the grower. It is an empathetic and open to impression. Therefore it is extremely important the source.
The ideal as I see it would be for the person who uses the plant to grow it themselves. I also would like to see the original seeds--seeds that many not exist today--be discovered.
There was one Dr. last night on the Integrated Oncology panel at UCSD who told a story about a patient who was terminally ill. The patient wanted to give up on treatment, so the doctor added marijuana to his protocol. He told the Admin of the hospital what he planned to do. The Admin said, just don't write it up in the Orders. One night, a nurse called Dr. Just M.D. to say that their was a terrible smell coming from the room where the patient was staying. The doctor, who today works for the California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence, told the nurse that this was part of his medicine. She said she was going to talk to the Admin about it. She did. That was the end of the story. The regimen continued. The patient got well. Dr. Just told the story to make a point. There are alternative treatments that sometimes work, and we need to be open to them.
I have personally have a prejudice against Cannabis most of my life, but lately have been more open to the weed that has seemingly influenced the world. On the recent caravan I saw what looked like forests of it growing.
I began to do some research on the internet. I have a sense that the raw leaf could never well be a valuable plant that could help people. I am looking forward to studying John Mini's book, and believe many could be helped.
