”Job’s Prayer”
BACKGROUND:
I bear witness to the generosity of “Heart and Soul” inspired local organic
farmers and Industry who are uplifting humanity. For years I have experienced this generosity at the Natural Products Expo West, from my friends in Publishing, and at the local Hillcrest Farmers’ Market in San Diego.
I have put out a Call for Collaboration over the years to my local farmers who have helped me create magnificent Enchanted Garden Installations of flowers, fresh fruits, grains, and stunning cornucopias that reveal the underlying abundance of nature. This one at the International Feng Shui Conference will be exciting and inspiring.
Three years ago, I was having bilateral hip revisions at the State of the art Thornton Hospital in La Jolla. Local farmers supplied organic foods to the Chef. My private room--paid for by Medicare-- was created to be a healing haven. My conscious intent was to uplift each nurse, doctor, or PT that came my way. I wanted them to feel Mother Earth’s magnificent “Organic Celebration!”
So here we are in the Summer of 2005. Never has there been a greater need for collaboration. The short on-line video “Store Wars” sponsored by my friends at the Organic Trade Association is making the rounds. This hilarious on-line video enlightens us about “The dark side of the farm” as well as the emergence of the “Organic Rebellion.” When you see “The Future of Food,” by Deborah Koons Garcia, you will realize that on our Watch we have lost close to 70% of our supermarket foods to GMO’s.
Despite these heart rending expressions, the “The Future of Food” is bright. “The Dark Side of the Farm” is no match for the force of “Organic Celebration!” Together, now, we can create this summer-- this very moment-- as the ultimate expression of Collaboration.
Between August 4-8 more than 60 innovative Sustainable Living experts will converge and join an estimated 400 or more to further define an emerging 21 Century Vital Energy Healing Model. This event will take place at the International feng Shui Conference at the Hilton San Diego Resort, August 4-8.
Menus for the event have now been confirmed with Executive Chef Hermann Schaefer for the landmark entry of locally grown organic and biodynamic food samplings into a three "Enchanted Gardener's Lunches." We are each Enchanted Gardeners of the Soul and Soil. We can choose to live in harmony with Mother Earth.
