- Now's the time to give yourself some tender loving care... by Dazzle

Try not to beat yourself up too badly. Yes, today was a low point, but it's definitely a learnable situation. Nothing is lost. Just begin tomorrow as though today didn't happen. Follow your fast as before but expect tomorrow to possibly be tougher (potential hunger pangs) and try to prepare for that.
If you really feel the need to eat try to fall back on raw fruits such as banana or avocado, a slice, a small bite would take the edge off but not trigger the digestive system the way a baked potato may, or probably will.
I've even put a squirt of honey or Agave nectar on my tongue and that took away the desire for anything. A strong, tart lemon or lime tea sweetened with honey or agave nectar and sprinkled with cayenne pepper also took the edge off any desire to eat. Try hot veggie broths, or fruit broths. They also help. Alot.
Again, don't beat yourself up. Now's the time to give yourself some tender loving care. Stroke your spirit and emotions. Do something nice for yourself. Then begin tomorrow with strong resolve. You can do it.
*hugs*

- its ok by ausjulie

as dazzle said just start again tommorrow - its all ok. as far as eating goes the only thing i can say is the longer you go without it the less you even feel like it. it is hard but it gets easier just jump back on the juice wagon - see it as a small mishap that you can move on from. it really is worth it please try again. when i felt like i was havign trouble with wanting food i did something else , went for a walk, read a book, blogged, searched the internet for all juice information, went to the movies. i also sipped on ice water with lemon squeezed in it. the veggie broths got me thru soem tuff times and so did herbal tea if you can find one you really like. im sorry you feel so bad today but you will feel so much better when you work thru this and go back to the fast ans complete the time you want to. good luck

- Hot vege broth! by Nectarine Girl

...That's what gets me through the evening. I've been making a pot of strong flavoured broth each lunchtime so it's ready in the evening when the other people in my house are eating real (and real good smelling!) food.
I'm a day behind you, just completed day 3...these early days are so difficult! Kiha Kaha (stay strong).

I am planning on it for 20 days. How bout' you. I screwed up for 2 days in a row though! :( I am back on track now so I hope it will stay that way. I am hoping to lose weight and keep it off. i am a little skeptical that it will stay off though? Do you know anything about this? I hope you are doing well on your fast!!

In my experience the weight stayed off until I went to college and gave up on healthy eating. Healthy eating is key.
I'm going 60+. Letting my body do the leading.
Try not to cheat too much as everytime you get that system digesting again, you have to go through the hunger all over again. Not fun. I hope you do well, the benefits are great!

Thank you. I am starting all over and am going to for 20 days. I hope I do better. I cheated once and it made me hungry and then I screwed up for a few days. I need to stay focussed.I hope you are doing well. 60 days is alot! Wow. I wish I could do that. I bet you are so trim and healthy :)
