You are indeed a very brave soul to have explored Mother Ayahuasca as you did with your session. She is a powerful medicine. And, my Goddess! You mean you had a healing initiation with Mandaza THEN went for the Ayahuasca medicine soon afterwards? You are brave, strong, and a true spiritual warrior!

I have also had healing from Mandaza, and he is powerful.

I have worked with Mother Ayahuasca for the past 18 months in Brasil. I have worked with a teacher there, having taken part in about 10 ceremonies with him, along with several rituals with one of the churches in Brasil that uses ayahuasca for their sacrament. They call it Daime.

Anyway, the comments people shared with you about you "doing the work" for the group is so, so very true. Your writing reminded me of how I saw others doing that during their sessions: how their intense experience with Mother Ayahuasca--filled with retched vomiting, tremendous grief and emotional catharsis--how I felt that as not only being that person's work, but the work for the group; for all of humanity, really! It's hard to explain, but when you are in the space of Mother Ayahuasca, that is how it works. She is a powerful healer.

You seem to have an amazing connection with your Guides and the Goddess. It appears your support from those energies are amazing, so you're in such good hands for this integration time. I'd listen to your dreams, as Mandaza reminded you, and spend time near or in the water! I said I've worked with Mother Ayahuasca for 18 months: let me tell you, I'm still processing my healing journeys from April, 2004!!!! I am still having dreams showing me what was going on during those sessions. And the work I continue to do--the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological processing that I am undergoing--wow, it is very intense! Being aware of the fact that your life is now opening in amazing ways, and understanding that it is a process (and I wish I could italicize that word!)...be good to yourself, and know that you'll continue to undergo a lot of changes.

Once you've experienced the teachings of Mother Ayahuasca, you will not be able to go back to a limited concept of who you are. But you know this anyway: it seems as though your guides and spirits are telling yout his. You've got a wonderful gift, and the best kind of reminder to oneself during this kind of spiritual work is to simply let the mental critic take a back seat to the work, and be open to what is opening within.

Indeed, the experience you had during your ayahuasca session is intense, but it seems as though you embraced that opportunity. The Vine does not give you what you are not ready for! Mother Ayahuasca will not give you something you cannot handle, or are not ready to handle! So now the unfolding begins for you...listening to your dreams, listening to your talks with your guides and Mother Goddess...doing whatever you feel guided to in these days, as it is all about your healing...and you know that as you are healing yourself, you are healing the planet, your community, the Universe...as crazy as that seems. But you know this is true, I imagine, having read a couple of your postings.

So this is a rambling, quick, reply to your request for comments about ayahuasca. There's lots more I can share, plenty of insights....but I have a feeling that your own insights are the ones that count in these days, the only ones that will have real value. By listening to your process and all the gifted beings around you, all of your questions will be answered. But on this human level, I'll be happy to share with you whatever you'd like to hear.
