New art: "Four"
I did this art for a small art group that I belong to. The challenge was to do some kind of art based on ”4/four.” Decided I like the different versions of the number 4 and always like that industrial style / patina stuff. Tried to make it look like it has been around awhile.

Greatest Journey
When the sun rises
I sing my song.
The sun’s light breaks into
glorious colors
Lighting up the world.
The sun chases the last stars
that twinkle their dimming rays
and the sun’s bright yellows
illuminate the sleeping world.
I wake from the dream world,
I dance with the sun’s beams and
sing my song
glorifying the new day,

New Art: STOP Left Brain Thinking!
As we go through this time of challenge and chaos, I keep getting reminded of one of my favorite sayings....”Leave your brain behind the door!”
We are definitely in a time that everyone needs to be living in the ”NOW”.
I made an altered book last year for a Jung conference and this is one page from that altered book.

I was doing some Shamanic work for a client and thought
I would share the vision I got:
I was in the woods looking for a hole to go down into the lower world. Soon I saw a snake hole. (Snake for me is one of my helpers). I jumped into the snake hole and journeyed downward. Soon I came to an elevator (sure...why not?) So I went into the elevator and went down to the bottom floor.

As a Shamanic Practitioner, I have found that as time passes and the earth changes have become more frequent as well as the world economic crisis becomes worse, more people are becoming open to help from the Shamanic world.
Because I do not only Shamanic work, but also various types of readings and workshops, I see how the acceleration of the world in crisis is affecting everyone. People are more open to looking within and seeking help from their Higher Self.

Original Crewel embroidery from the 1960's
Way back in late 1960 I had one child and was expecting another. It was winter and we had no TV or much to do. For whatever reason, I decided to teach myself crewel embroidery.
What was I thinking?
Anyway, I worked at it and after much trial and error decided to embroider a pillow case. Here is the result!
I actually had forgotten about it until one of my daughters found it in the attic back home and sent it to me. WOW! What a lot of work! Never again! Does show what a person can do when they put their mind to it though!

As a very little girl, I spent the summers with my Grandfather who would teach me the Old Ways. One summer when I was maybe three or four, it had been very hot and muggy with no breezes to help cool you off. I was probably being a little pest as only a three or four year old can do and complaining about the mugginess. Blog is back
HEY! It has been forevern since I have posted on this blog. My computer crashed....then I got so frustrated trying to post pictures to this site I just gave it up.
Well, the good news is....I have talked someone into helping me with this blog and posting pictures! So....
looks like I will be able to get this blog up and running again!
I am hoping to post my art work and thoughts more regularly
now that I have some help!! I am hoping to post at least once a week and maybe even twice a week. So stick around and

Frustrated trying to post pictures
Have not posted in awhile as my computer crashed and had to get
new components. (UG)
Also, again I have became overly frustrated with the process it takes to post pictures to this blog. I spent HOURS trying to download and post some pictures and never did get them to take.
I even emailed one of the main people on this site to PLEASE make the process more simple. Blogspot, Ning, Facebook and others have a very simple system so I see no reason why the administrators could not use that same system I would be posting a whole lot more and putting up a lot of my pictures. Not posted lately
Have not posted lately. Ran into some problems with my camera software. Not sure what the problem is. Can’t get it to download the pictures into my computer.
