”What do you do when you feel upset, annoyed or miserable? Instead of trying to find peace and light again, you run to your parents, neighbours and friends, or you use the telephone to broadcast your problems. When you have finished you feel relieved, and this is all that matters. You fail to realize that when you behave in this way, it is as if you were dumping piles of refuse at their houses. He was imprisoned for nine months during which he wrote many mystical poems and experienced his ”dark night of the soul.”
My own journey has progressed to a deeper understanding, but John introduced me to finding God within. What we do with our longi ... read more
