Day 10: Strange reaction from the Albendazole

Day 10 of ICU's Strongyloides Protocol: Day 2 of Albendazole.

Took my first dose of ABZ last night and a second dose this morning. I'm already starting to feel the effects, or the worms are. I'm having lots of little "stings" where they are coming out of my skin, and lots of pinching in the gut. Lots of itching, but don't know if that's caused by them dying or just a reaction to the drugs. Last night, about an hour after I took my first does, I felt actual writing in my gut, which makes me believe I do have Ascaris.

But the strangest thing so far is what just happened. I felt a sharp pain under my right arm and went to look in the mirror. There was a long, red scratch where something had exited my skin, but that wasn't the strange part. I have several cysts in my upper arm, one that is large and hard. I noticed that around the cyst, there were raised, bleached-looking areas of skin that went out from the cyst like sun rays. I watched as the bleached area spread into a huge round blob. Whatever is in there is bleaching my skin, just like Onchocerca volvulvus nematodes that cause river blindness do. It was so fast. I don't know if the color will come back or not, but obviously, whatever it is, it does not like the ABZ, which is a good thing.

Now my shoulder is hurting, sharp burning pains. I'm going to drink a ton of lemon water, take some garlic, and hope for the best.
