Two Forces

It has also been stated that these two forces can be termed 'light' and 'darkness'. These metaphors are symbolic of the duality dynamic that we humans face from day to day, in our lives. The Truth and Reality is, there is only One energy; Love. Or, Light, if you wish. Darkness is something that simply is a lack of light. It is something that does not exist, (nothing-ness,) awaiting to be filled with light, (something-ness). It is the same as fear. Fear is the human emotional equivalant of darkness and is an inability to feel Love within oneself. This is where all of our struggles and madness originate. Not because we HAVE some kind of problem or flaw, but, because we lack the ability to access our Truth.
How do we access Truth? It's really quite easy, but most are caught in a pattern of intellect worship and don't, or won't consider it as being likely for them. Has anyone solved the world's, or humanity's problems with thinking yet? Don't you think that if our problems in this area could have been solved by thinking that someone in history would have done it by now? Or do you think you are smarter than everyone that has ever lived, so you'll be able to do what none of the Great minds in history have done?
Don't get me wrong, now. I do believe the intellect is a necessary and valuable tool of the human journey. But, it needs to be used in a way that it is in conjunction and serves the heart, the feelings and intuition. Unfortunately, it is the other way around for most people on this planet. We have lost touch with who we Truly are.
How does one access their Truth? By listening closely to how you are feeling at any given time. When you hear, see or read something, or even think a certain thought; how does it make you feel? Do you feel expanded or contracted? Does it make you feel 'larger' or 'smaller'? Does it make you feel 'trapped' in any way, or 'free'? This is 'listening to the heart.' It is not a sentimental, romantic notion. It is the Way of the Spiritual Warrior.

It's as simple as that. When you hear Truth, you will feel 'expanded', simply because when you hear Truth you are connecting with more of your True Self, for in Reality you ARE Truth, Life, Light and Love, and when you re-connect with that, it feels wonderful!
When you feel contracted, trapped or 'smaller', you are dis-connecting from your true self.
Open your heart and see that fear was just a dream, a lie of ego, and the only illusion that we need to face directly. Like the schoolyard bully, it turns and runs away when confronted. It is simply a reflection of your own ignore-ance of your Truth and who you Really are; Love.
