Phase 2 - Day 8

Inner Spring Clean

Another day winding down, fast still going well :)

Put my juicer to work today, started the morning with the glass of charcoal water I've been having and a little shot of warm water and lemon juice.

A little later on I made a very green juice for breakfast - pineapple, zucchini, parsley, kale, a sprinkle of himilayan salt and some silverbeet from the garden.

Did a lot of practice and had a little jam with a friend - no yoga today, didn't get to it, I did however juice half a big bunch of cilantro I had waiting and put that into a coffee enema - had another series of enemas today, thought it was about that time again - I think I've averaged about one per week maybe a little less - think its good to do about that regular.

I was a bit tired after that, I'm getting more relaxed than ever with the process, have become more of a pro now I guess with practice & I took my laptop in to the bathroom with me and watched a cute kids movie just to help distract me from the minutes while I did my best to retain the enema for a good long while.

Had a little chill out after that finishing the film and made another set of juices

I juiced 3/4 of a punnet of strawberries with a slice of lemon and a little bit of ginger - I also had a little scoop of leftover berries from a kombucha I'd made and finished off today so I threw those in the juicer with the other fruit - after extracting this - I added it to the bottle of charcoal water I've been using every morning, making it into a bit of a charcoal strawberry lemonade morning tonic - the strawberries needed using and I had got the idea for the drink from the little menu a posh pressed juice bar I went to last time I was in the city had.

Next I juiced the last 1/4 of the punnet with a pear, half an apple, a couple cups of yellow watermelon, 3/4 of an organic banana peel with a couple little rounds of the banana - I think that was it, threw in a pinch of vanilla paste and cinnamon powder - wow, great juice. It made a lot so I bottled one serve, drank one and left one for my friend.

Still drinking the nutrient water from the morning juice and made another little jug of that with the recent juice - will probably drink all that now for the rest of the night, just helping to loosen and flush. I still have one coffee enema and the rinse water from the cilantro juice which I'll use as a pre-enema - I'm either going to take those a little later tonight or maybe tomorrow depending on how I go. Usually I do it all in one session, but this time its working out to be 2 which will probably help loosen a lot more and be a good thing. Nice to just watch some movie and take my time with it not thinking much about it as the whole process can easily take 40 minutes or more.

I have been fantasizing a bit more about food the last day or two - I wanted to go through the whole 21 days of this leg without eating but I'm pretty sure I'll have another rice and chicken dish when I leave the city - have to go again the day after tomorrow, ah well, I can live with that. Think I'll just satisfy my lust and then keep fasting again like I did last time.

That'll be 11 days in - Until then its juices, water, the occasional tea or dandelion coffee etc... I realized I had an organic veg broth powder in the cupboard yesterday or the day before which made a nice clear 12 calorie drink - so I had one the other day when I needed some salt or savory thing - so that's there in the carousel now if I feel like one. Not going to actually make any proper more sustaining broths until phase 3 of the fast when I might cook some proper bone broths.

Well, sorry all technical today - bit of a boring but informative post about what I'm doing.
