Days 14 and 15
...this juice fasting is amazing!
Date: 4/3/2006 9:09:40 AM ( 20 y ) ... viewed 2158 times Started at 207 lbs...now am at 188 lbs...down 19 lbs in 15 days...most people really struggle to lose a lb a week. they work their butts off and go hungry and exercise like crazy, for a lousy lb. a week! Since my cold, i haven't exercised, just lay around watching movies, and losing a lb a day! From yesterday, 2 lbs. , with virtually no hunger. Amazing.
i'm just 8 lbs away from my ideal weight goal. The last few days i've backed way off on the juicing...getting tired of cleaning that juicer, echhh. And added watermelon and grapefruit juice by themselves...they're quickies. Plus often i just throw 2 carrots, 2 apples, then the green powder stuff in for a complete drink. . . and it seems i'm somewhere between doing a pure water fast and the juice fast, doing this. i read somewhere a 10 day pure water fast will lose the equivalent of a 30 day juice fast. i can feel a slight empty feeling in the stomach due to the less juice, but the weight keeps easily coming off. So i'm concluding that green powder stuff is great! ...how much trouble is it to get spirulina, cholorella, wheatgrass, oatgrass, barley, alphafa, flaxseed, kamutgrass, Hydrilla vert. grass, shitake mushroom, siberian gingseng, omega 3 fatty acids, milk thistle, and more, vegetarian approved! ...whew, almost no way to get all that fresh. I figure the fresh of all that, if you could get it, would be a 10 on scale of 1 to 10, but the powder must be 8 or 9 using it. So you're getting the SUPER nutrition good stuff, with a lot less trouble and cost. One faster asked the brand...it's Green Edge (i'm in no way affiliated with them)...you can get it WITH added protein or without...i'm using it without during my fast.
The SUPER energy is kicking in!
At this rate, i may have accomplished all my goals by day 25...a new record of fasting for me...am so thankful...and LIGHT and energized!
i can do one more day...
