My condition won't go away. I am flipping out. It has destroyed my life. I can't enjoy anything and I'm freaking out about this. I have been on daily antifungals for 6 weeks now, or more, and it has gotten maybe 60-90 % better, but varies from day to day. I am afraid that I have gotten immune to every antifungal/cream that I've been on. Before that, I tried every home treatment you could imagine, which helped a lot, but it always came back, that is why I have gone through many doctors to be where I am now. yet still, it won't clear completely. No one understands. I switched back to daily diflocan, with Nystatin dry vaginal tabs, and Lotrisome cream if needed, or A&D ointmemnt for topical itches. My symtoms are vaginal itch. My gyno is stumped by my case, that's why she was open to Dr. Crandell's protocall, which I am on. But now she consulted the infectious disease doctor. Read above what he has suggested.
I think I have a horrible horrible condition. I think it comes from a "PPTU" diagnosis, protozan, and I can't really erradicate that. Those symtoms cause me occasional rectal itch, but much better than it used to be. I must have cleansed myself to oblivian with that whole mess. Some theorize that it's been yeast all along. Originally thought it was from pinworms, but never got a diagnosis test after test after test..... I don't have digestive issues at all which is good, have very regular bowls, been on the candida diet, no sugar, probably still eat to many carbs, but try so hard to not eat them if I don't have to, and they are all whole grains. I don't have a candida allergy, or any other allergys either. I've ruled out everything there is. I am at the end of my rope and feel so helpless and hopeless. I'd always have so many things to try of what I was doing didn't work. But now, I honestly have nothing else to try. If the RX's don't work, than what? I have found the doctors to prescribe what I need, I have good medical coverage, and by the way, an infectious disease doc could put my on "cocktails" of antiprotozan drugs, Antibiotics which only escalates the yeast cycle. so what to do???? The people on the protozan site try so many drugs, combos to combat their protozan, and nothing works for them. My sex life has been destroyed by this. Jorge, Dr. Crandell told me that if the diflocan doesn't work or stops working, add Lamisel, another type of antifungal to the mix. I don't think my gyno would go for that. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Jorge? can you help her? she's way worse then me. I'm investigating a bunch of things, and who knows? maybe i'll run across something for Gibby. You never know? I'm an odd duck, that thinks outside the box. c
