Sorry in advance for the LONG history, but if you are going to take a crack at this you need it all:
1967: Born Rochester, NY
1968: Moved Corning, NY
1971: Moved Tokyo, Japan
1973: Moved Medfield, MA (just west of Boston)
1974: Moved Tokyo, Japan
1985-87: University of Wyoming for school, Tokyo for home
1987-1989: Worked EDS Japan, Tokyo, Japan
1990: Moved Rochester, NY, attended RIT
1994: Worked as geek at printing company (Toxic exposure?)
1999: Moved Redmond, WA, worked at computer company
2000: Year long temperature of 100.5 to 101. No diagnosis found
2001: Anaphylactic shock reaction to Levaquin. Three days in hospital, energy levels took 1-1.5 years to return. I have NEVER taken a flouro-quinalone Antibiotic since then.
2003: Moved Kingston, WA, five acres in the woods. Also bought excavator. Exposure to diesel, hydraulic fluid, LOTS of nettles, bee stings and mud. VERY stinky DEEP (armpit) mud.
2004: Lost my job for not being there enough, but came back in the back door as a contactor 3 months later for 50% more money. Go figure. But the stress was pretty bad.
2005: Car crash, torqued back, diagnosed with cardio myopathy, diagnosed with diabetes, all in AUGUST, due to failed glucose tolerance test, but A1c normal, 4.9-5.2 then and since. The back has ALWAYS been bad, 6' tall, 28" inseam, I am all back and heavy (more on obesity later). I see PT folks when it flares, but as a geek I hunch too much at my PC and so I tend to mess it up. The cardiomyopathy was with an ejection fraction of 40%, but it is up to 65% as of today, so I dodged that bullet. The current theory was a viral insult, but again, NOT A FIRM DIAGNOSIS. The diabetes cannot be shown on a1c or a monitor, only a tolerance test, so it has now been called "pre" diabetic.
2007: Diagnosed with (in order) Lyme, Toxoplasmosis and POSSIBLE gall bladder problems. An ID Dr. gave my 30 day of anti biotics and told me that would kill the Lyme and Toxoplasmosis, they could NOT confirm the Gall Bladder, despite the pain. Eventually I said the heck with it and had a Dr. pull it anyway. It turned out to be chronically inflamed, but no stones (duh, they would have seen those!).
2008-9: MASSIVE Lyme treatment with a naturalist leaning DO. Antibiotics , antifungals, supplements and two years of nausea, the runs and general misery. At the end of it the Lyme test numbers had NOT changed and the DO told me that I should look elsewhere for a solution... What fun...
2008-Present
I have been basically unemployed, a chronic joint pain patient, on a variety of opiates (now on Tramadol after kicking the opiates, that was fun...) often in bed, depressed (go figure) and generally miserable. I have had one further diagnosis from a rhuematoologist (sp?) that I have an autoimmune attack on my thyroid, BUT all my TSH, T3 and T4 tests are normal and no one will let me try synthroid to see if it will help.
I have also been diagnosed with IBS, GERD, Migraines, Depression and clumsiness (my wife did the last, unfortunately I passed it to two of the three kids...)
I have just gone through a month with several NEW symptoms:
1) Heart PVCs that HURT (Clean stress test and echo, cholesterol 170, ratio a bit high 5.8) I have had PVCs for years, but never felt them in my chest before
2) Increased floaters in my eyes. I have lattice degeneration in both eyes, dating back to my teens with no explanation.
3) Lower right back pain. I went to the PT folks thinking it was my back and they told me I have put my lowest right rib out of place. Of course that is also where the back of my liver is, but then why woudl stretches help and exercises hurt?
4) Blood tests back yesterday show my AST at 42 (usually I run 30-35) and ALT at 134 (I historically run 65-72). My father has hemochromatosis and I have been checked for that (negative genetic test) and have my ferritin checked regularly just in case. My brother had hep A as a kid so I have been innoculated against HepA and HepB. I HAVE been diagnosed with fatty liver disease, but I have been LOSING weight this year. (Does the lost fat end up getting filtered and stuck in the liver?) There is NO history of liver cancer or tumors in my family.
5) My testicles ACHE. Not ow, ow, a constant dull ache, as if they had been kick hours ago. I have tried ejaculation as it cured epiditimitis as a kid (that was a fun conversation with my Mom), but that has not helped. For some reason passing gas helps. I do NOT have a hernia or torsion, those have been checked. I do have a large fat pad around my groin area. (Does anyone know how to get rid of that? I have not found the right exercise... Perhaps a different post.)
Personal data.
1) I am a VERY big guy. 6', 330 lbs. This sounds like I am incredibly obese, but my TARGET weight is 270. Crazy? Not exactly. Have you ever seen a picture of a dwarf, short legs, WIDE shoulders (6' AROUND my shoulders (no, not fat)), 10" wrists at the bone and 6" wide elbow bones. I think my Mom, molecular geneticist, put in some Gorilla! (Kidding...) At 270 my body fat would be around 10-15%, if I went to the "target" 185 I would be dead. I can stack my 220lbs of children on my shoulders and walk around (but my back does not love me for it), etc. The worst part is my knees.
2) I do not drink, smoke or use caffiene. (I drank in college, but rarely to excess. I quit 20 years ago when we were working on getting pregnant and never went back. Never smoked tobacco, a few joints in college (25+ years ago). I was a SERIOUS caffiene hound until I found out in the early 2000s that was what caused my headaches. I quit fast!) Fast food is 1-2 times per month. No soda, milk and water only, occasionally OJ or REAL lemonade if we have lemons. I do eat meat if we have some, but we can only afford it 2-3 times per week. The rest of the time it is mostly whole grains, veggies and dairy (OK, I love cheese and sour cream on potatoes as a meal... No one is perfect...)
3) We live in the woods and in a rural area near an indian reservation and casino. There are two small towns (7000 and 10000) within 20 minutes, but all of the land around here is 5 acre or larger lots. Fauna and Flora are typical to western WA. We have LOTS of stinging nettles, dragonflies and other indicators of a healthy environment. Stuff grows here VERY fast, we have trees that are 50' tall and 8" in diameter and are under 10 years old. (Ok, they are alders and they are weed trees, but still...)
4) The house water is a well and VERY hard, but we drink bottled. We refill it from the filtered stuff at the grocery store for $.40 per gallon. I figure their machines must get cleaned pretty often.
5) We use a septic system for waste removal. Installed in 2003, we have not yet had to have the 1200 gallon tank emptied so I assume the biobed is good shape. The field is a 4 row field and so far even the inspection port on the end of the FIRST row stays dry, so it has a LOT of life left in it. It is about 350' from the well and there are TWO harpan clay layers between them. I know this because I have used the top one to build a swimming hole for the kids (complete with frogs and tadpoles! (volunteers))
6) We live in a year 2000 Palm Harbor doublewide, 66' by 28'. This is "temporary" until we build a house and sell it off. The quotation marks are because I was SUPPOSED to be done with this small chore, but have been sick...
OK, so LONG history over. I have probably left SOMETHING out, so PLEASE ask questions.
I need guesses, ideas, suggestions, ANYTHING! At this point I am bedridden about 4 out of 7 days, in chronic joint pain (ALL JOINTS) and becoming suicidal (Yes, I have pills and supplements for that, the basis is despair...). Doctors you recommend (I will fly if I have to...), especially ones that are into diagnosis of odd symptoms.

It would be helpful if you post what other pills besides Tramadol you're on and what supplements (and amounts) you're taking.
About 1) heart arrythmias are often due to electrolyte imbalance, because I have thyroid and adrenal problems I often get them but have been able to successfully get rid of them on different occasions with either minerals or natural remedies, please go to www.earthclinic.com/CURES/heart_palpitations.html and in particular read the post by "Ted from Bangkok".
2) Floaters are often caused my fungus/candida, if you've had any mold in the house or been exposed to it at work you may want to look into that.
3) Perhaps exercise hurts because of the lactic acid, just a guess though! Have you tried drinking more water? Dr. Batmanghelidj, author of the book "Your Body's Many Cries for Water" said most kinds of pain respond well to an increase in our water intake and being a heavy guy you should be drinking aprox. 150 oz. of water daily.
4) My liver enzymes are also high but cause has been undetermined as yet. My own guess is that I may have gallbladder stones as I have felt discomfort in the liver area, especially after a large meal. After some research I opted for taking milk thistle and was going to order alpha lipoic acid but opted for this instead (but I haven't started yet...). I also made changes in my diet and started buying organic veggies and some grass fed beef and now use much less butter than before. And between that, taking digestive enzymes that include ox bile, the milk thistle and applying castor oil packs , usually overnight, I haven't had the bothersome "ache" in my liver in at least the past 2 weeks (maybe longer), so give them a try, it's the most helpful uninvasive therapy that I know of. Ah, and get lecithin granules, it helps heal a fatty liver.
5) The above iodine suggestion may be good. Also, if you're not taking zinc or MSM (for the sulphur), try those, I reead they are important for testicular health. I think you could even have a separate cloth drenched in castor oil to do the packs there too.
At this point any junk or fast food should be completely out. And if by chance your body doesn't handle wheat/gluten and dairy or even some other foods well (allergy), it could cause a lot of things to go wrong. Wheat (even whole grain), for example, is notorious of creating anti-bodies in sensitive people (like 'moi') which then attack organs like the thyroid, adrenals, liver, etc. Despite knowing that my father had celiac, which is or can be hereditary, and over time seeing my body react negatively to those foods, I never really wanted to give up my favorite foods for good and I played a "little game" of going off them until I felt better, then make "a few exceptions" which were never that "few", well, that surely backfired on me big time and it took my getting scared out of my mind with some recent "attacks" to finally learn my lesson. And I want to tell everyone who hasn't explored this type of food intolerance or has even suspected it but is not convinced, that it's not worth it to stay in denial, we can self-test for free by simply withdrawing those foods from our diet for at least a week, sometimes it could take longer, I remember when I first stopped eating cheese and yogurt my nasal congestion got worst at first, but then after 1 week or so it got better.
I also recommend that you read up on the Blood Type diet, I've found the recommendations for my blood type (O) to be pretty on target (wheat or dairy are "avoids" at least for Os & Bs), and as we see all the time what works for some doesn't work at all for others so the key could very well be in our different blood types.

This is a reply to # 1,950,272I highly recommend looking into heavy metal toxicity. If you have dental amalgam, get them removed ASAP. Research Andy Cutler and read through the archives here. The back pain can be connected to this.
I also highly recommend getting off of all drugs (don't go cold turkey though) and finding natural alternatives.
Seriously research and practice self-awareness, being present in your body and feeling your emotions with conscious presence. This one is big and has nothing to do with the "new age" or hocus pocus.
Change your diet to all organic and natural.
Okay- regarding suicidal depression- there is something you can start doing right away. It is called the "hot cold shower therapy" and involves alternating between hot water and very cold water several times. The colder the better. You should scream, jump up and down, holler, woot, whatever you need to do but this WILL move blood, energy, emotions, and help you out greatly since you are bedridden. Start off gently if you are concerned about your heart as it will move a lot of blood.
Also I HIGHLY recommend buying a course called "emotional genius" by Karla McKlaren. You sound like a strong macho guy and chances are your relationship to your emotions has been badly influenced by society and especially american society. Humanity's relationship to their own emotions is ASS BACKWARDS in other words- we think it is "bad" to feel "bad" and so avoid it at all costs. When in actuality ALL emotions be them positive or negative are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL and must be felt and processed through the body. We are either over expressing our emotions or downright repressing them- but what we really need to do is "feel" them- with conscious awareness in and through the body without judgement or reaction. Just feel them and let them be so they can do their HEALING work. That is right- emotions HEAL the body! Especially the "bad" ones we all avoid. The more potent it is- the more essential it is to feel and integrate.
Once you can feel your emotion pain without judging it bad- things like Depression will naturally resolve themselves. Depression is just energy that is not moving- and becoming aware of how you feel is the first step to getting this system moving. Digestion is connected to this and so eating ginger will help as well as flushing out your liver with the liver flush. So will Ginseng as it opens up the meridians.
You also should look into a thorough Colon Cleanse to remove any lodged toxins or fecal impactions.
Once your pathways of elimination are clear, you should DEFINITELY pursue a thorough parasite cleanse. And Consider your intestinal flora pretty much eradicated from all those Antibiotics .
And consider doing a basic detox protocol like drinking Essiac tea everyday. This will be good for all those chemicals.
As mentioned above, look into Iodine supplementation to displace the toxic halogens you no doubt have accumulated.
Get out of bed as much you can and do gentle exercise in nature- get sunshine.
Best wishes let me know if you need any clarification on certain points. Follow the above and you should swiftly and definitely find your pathway out of hell (I know cause I've been there).

One word...suicidal...that means to me that you need electrolyte balancing. I know because my own mental state was changed instantly.
Please try it, my friend.
Use a full bath, or a footbath, or a hand bath.
Make sole (pronounced so-lay) by filling a jar (large) with Himalayan Salt Crystal rocks and adding clean water to fill. Let sit overnight. There should be crystals left in the jar in the morning.
The water left in the jar is a 26% saturation. Water will not accept any greater of a concentration.
Then take a measure of the sole water and put it into, say, a footbath container. Add 26 measures of clean, warm water to bring the bath to the ideal 1% solution (For you, I'd say to use at least 3 cups of sole water, in a fairly big tub, and to add 26 X 3 = 78 cups of clean, warm water.)
Soak your feet in this tub for 20 - 30 minutes. Longer is of no use because your skin is genetically programmed to take in and give out minerals that are excessive or deficient to an appropriate balance. (Wonderful stuff, skin!)
The average bathtub takes 1 kg. of crystals to bring the bath to an approximate 1% solution. The crystals don't melt quickly so use the finest grind (called 'table' grind). You could even melt them in a bucket overnight.
I was afraid of dying one night. A friend suggested this as a footbath, and the salt volume as 1/2 to 1 cup. I used the whole cup, and stuck my feet in.
Nothing happened, except that I had a fairly pleasant warm footbath.
Bored, I went to bed, and slept well.
In the morning, when I was walking downstairs, I suddenly noticed that I felt fine...not even a niggle of fear.
I doubt that it is necessary. but I am currently planning a three-day round of Himalayan Crystal Mineral Salt baths, just in case. When I have taken the full baths, I lay in the water and drizzled it over the parts of me out of the water.

Also, top up the water in your sole jar with clean water, whenever you take out some sole. Do this until the rocks in the jar melt. Then start another jarful.
There was something more to tell you but I can't remember what it was.
I don't remember being afraid of dying since the incident I mentioned above. Maybe the brain remembers.

This is a reply to # 1,950,272Many good answers to someone who probably have to do a lot to regain health. Here is my simple advice. Go buy ph paper to start monitoring your acid/alkaline balance. Most ill people have a upset ph balance and it is so easy to get it right if you just know. Its regulated by green juices.
I who also suffer from Lyme disease and Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome have struggled for years to maintain physical shape. I do walking as my training and manage to do a two hours walk 3-4 times a week.
But i get stiff by this training and usually cannot do anything after these walks. Then i suddenly understood, this stiffness could be caused by lactic acid, so i started with green juice before walking . It was a hit. It prevents the stiffness.
Second. Find a healer with rife-machine or e-lybra or other machines which can do a proper diagnosis of you. Then you can plan your own protocol. Also; Lyme Disease is serious. You will benefit a lot if the burgdorfers get zapped, and you will gain more energy to your continued struggle.
And yes, if you have suffered gluten intolerance your whole life, you will never test positive on any MD's test. The immune system is so overtrodden and insulted it will not come up with any symptoms anymore, just allover discomfort and pain. One thing I've learned, is if you have pain you have inflammation. I don't know if you heard of glutathione, but research shows that your conditions is related to low glutathione level.

You've obviously got a lot going on but what caught my attention is your migraines. I found that certain things could bring on my migraines which began when I was ten years old. Being around open oil or gasoline could do it, eating pancakes and syrup (yup, and I love 'em) and other things too. Along with them I would also get flashing lights. Aspirin rarely even helped and they would often go on for days at a time. Then many years later I took up spiritual meditation and spiritual healing and one time after about the fifth consecutive day of my non-stop migraine I had a spiritual healing from a woman at http://c-d-m.org/ - and I haven't had a migraine in the subsequent thirty years! Through both meditation and spiritual healing I've also "cured" other things, most notably atrial fibrillation which would often last for hours.

What foods do you crave that caused you to get to such a high weight. Dr. Daniel Amen's book is good for making the connection btw cravings and important brain chemicals.
How is your thyroid--Free T3?
When out of reasonable options you might consider a hair test where you look for heavy metals and also strangely fouled up essential elements. There are 600+ here along with symptom lists.

I am not sure what will be your main problem is. One thing is clear though that you have a serious problem and you need help. My solution is very easy and hope it could help you out and lessen the suffering that you may be undergoing at this moment. I would like to share with you what we call Yuen Method. It is very simple and it does not require any medication or any diagnosis. This is a generalized solution to help you out. All you need to do is to be familiar with the 5 categories of weakness which are emotional, physical empathy, mental and spiritual even including the category UNKNOWN.
You can do a shortcut of the method if you try to identify a number for that issues but still going through the 6 categories including the unknown. Try to delete all the associations with that number until you reach the point of neutrality or zero. Meaning you do not have any negative feelings or the issue is already gone, leaving you feeling better. Also, there are exercises that you can do to make you either feeling strong or weak. One of the examples of exercises to make you strong is imagining an image of a sphere or putting your tongue at the roof of your mouth.
In the Yuen method, you can get rapid results and hopefully this one will work for you.

Several things do jump out at me, though I may be WAY off base here and sending you down another rabbit hole unnecessarily. I'm NO EXPERT and have NO training. Only a patient trying to help himself while constantly stumbling.
You are posting in Candida so you know something about it; I'd say Candida overgrowth. It's very common for Candida to become out of balance when treating Lymes with abx. Thus, why you were probably on an antifungal during treatment. Also, you live in the woods, where there is lots of mold/mildew/fungus. Many of your symptoms are similar to fungal issues, most commonly Candida. There are tests to prove such. You might try the various online questionnaires for yeast infection as a starting place.
Probiotics, enzymes, supplements, DIET CHANGE are key ingredients to treating Candida.....look for the various Candida Diets which can be found easily enough.....It takes TIME to treat. Hang in there and best of luck....

I certainly agree that glutathione is valuable but various problems can leave us with less than optimal levels and difficulty producing it:
Toxins such has heavy metals reducing levels.
Messed up methylation cycle.
Lack of B6, sulfur-containing amino acids, vitamin C, glutamine, glycine, etc.

Things I always suggest chronically ill people be tested for:
MTHFR
SIBO
jaw cavitations
Various viruses, i.e. Epstein-Barr, Cytomegalovirus, coxsackie viruses
Sluggish liver - though there's no real test for it
Parasites
Candida

I know this is kind of old but have you heard of Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz? She is a medical intuitive who does remote consultations by phone; she has a radio show on http://hayhouseradio.com, and years ago when I listened regularly I called and was able to talk to her which was a remarkable experience. I've come to believe that all chronic illness has an emotional or spiritual component and unless we "clean" that up we might try all the "miracle" cures out there and at best just improve a little but never totally get cured, and very often the reason something from the outside works is because it rebalances our vibrational energy, that is more likely to happen also after the original cause for the illness no longer exists (like someone who developed an illness because of a job they hated and eventually left, or living with someone they couldn't get along with and either of the two moved away).

My guess would be dental issues. Do you have any root canals? Have you seen a biological dds?
