I suspect that I may have a stone or more stuck in my colon. This is because after beginning to do Liver Flushes - I have done 3 of them - my health problems have gotten worse. I have always had eye pain and stiff, but it increased many times in the last month or month and a half. From what I understand, I have lymphatic congestion in my head area, which causes the eyes to get tired and achy.
I found a colonic facility where I live and have taken 2 colonics in the last week. I want to understand whether 2 colonics are enough to have removed the stones, or if I need to take more. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I feel a bit better after having begun the colonics, and this is definitely partly because of the colonics and partly because of other things I am doing - herbs, exercise, lymphatic massage, etc. But I am still far from being as I was before these problems began a month and a half ago.
I planned that I would treat the 3rd colonic as a pre-flush colonic, do a Liver Flush one day after it, and then do another colonic as the post flush colonic. That would be my 4th liver flush, and I would go on like that once a month or so until 12 flushes approximately.
But now I am wondering whether I should continue to take colonics before I feel as I did before these problems began, or the Liver Flush may lodge more stones in my colon. The problem with that is that I would be taking more colonics, and every colonic is a rather hefty investment.
On the other hand, I wonder that - if it is true at all that I have stones in my colon which have caused toxicity including lymphatic congestion in the head - would I not need Liver Flush to remove this toxicity and would colonics by themselves not be insufficient?
I would appreciate any thoughts about this.
How many colonics should one take if one suspects stones or toxins trapped in the colon after a liver flush? Andreas Moritz who strongly emphasised colonics in the liver flush protocol usually says in his answers on this website to people with stones stuck in their colon - "get a colonic immediately". He nowhere speaks of more than one colonic needed to get the trapped stones out.
Would it be wiser to resume flushing after 3 colonics, as I had planned, or would it be wiser to put off the flushing until one is more or less normal?

This is a reply to # 2,310,118Most things I have read about colonics don't say that they upset your electrolyte balance dangerously. Why would you say they do? Do you have such experience or could you refer me to something you have read which overweighs all else that is written about colonics?
I didn't quite understand what a colon flush is. Do you mean an Epsom Salt flush, or a salt water flush, or castor oil flush - or other things like that?

Your colon is a very big tube in comparison to the bile ducts. Nothing coming from the bile ducts is big enough to get stuck in the colon.
Exercise, such as vigorous walking 30 minutes daily can do more to clean things out than all the colonics and flushes.
Just my opinion of course.
I'm not a Moritz fan but I believe he is referring to stones stuck in the bile outlets to the colon.
From experience I tell you that exercise will pop those rocks out before you are done with the 30 minute walk.

The average colon has plenty of pockets and narrow spaces where stones can get trapped, because it is so deformed and distended. That is also what Andreas Moritz wrote.
I wonder why you don't like him?

This is a reply to # 2,310,113There is nothing wrong with ur colon. The problem is the flush itself. Moritz state that not doing flushes at all is better unless ur going to complete them.
Eyes can be affected from the stagnate bile and also hair, nails and other. And there will be a increas stagnation of bile when you start flushing.
There is no need to hurry tho.
my tips for you is to eat your last meal 6 hours before the first epsom salt. you can eat floating 4hours before. Like a smoothie. its recommended to do that so you have energy to flush. This is the standard surgery recommendation in healthcare and I found it works very good with flushing as well. I personally eat a normal portion food. The recommended "light diet" gives me no energy and makes everything harder then what it is.
Then dont do colonics. just like previous people said. There is no need, you mess up electrolytes and get more tired. The body do not produce and excrete bile with toxins to have it reabsorbed in the colon. The body was not created that stupid.
Then i Also recommend you to drink alot of water with the epsomt salt. not within 30 min from taking it but before and after. You need to balance the salt so you dont mess up ur kidneys. I personally dont take Epsom Salt the next morning, I dont think there is any need. It will come out anyway whether you see it or not. The feeling is more important then the seeing.

I don't understand why there will be more stagnant bile once one starts flushing? Can you explain?
I would imagine that the liver has lesser stones after each flush and thus is functioning better - and thus the eyes, hair, nails will be better. No?
Regarding Epsom Salts - I don't know if I will get the diarrhea needed to flush out everything from the colon unless I take the 3rd and 4th dose. My diarrhea usually begins after the 4th dose.

You got to docolonics aftef Liver Flush if you suspect your colon might not be 100% heathy.
You either getting heathier or the other direction. Nothing between. Both direction could be seen as a full circle of implications. Including solely mental aspects. When you step in this circle of implications with a Liver Flush you not stepping in with some universally "good" think. Liver-Flush can cause move in both directions. Get better as well as get worse. Depends.
So yes, your body IS so "stupid" to reabsorb its owne toxins just expelled by liver. To use your vocabulary.
You got to do colonics after Liver Flush if you suspect your colon might not be 100% heathy. See chapter "Consequences of an Overloaded Colon" in Moritz' Heath and rejuvenation book?
Apart of colonics there might be other tool to prevent stones getting trapped in between these old layer of colon lining and inside excessive colon pockets. Please let me know about this alternative method.

From what i have read on this forum, it seems like it is normal for symptoms to get worse for a while once you begin flushing, and throughout the flushing process. The general consensus seems to be that flushing is a bumpy road, and once you start, you have to keep going to achieve the desired effects. Look around the forums for stories from people who had to do SO MANY flushes to achieve their goals. Plus there are people reliving old trauma, anger release, etc.
I'm just wondering, are you getting a lot of stones out? What kind of positive results are you getting from the flushes, if any, so far?
Be careful with colonics. I know of someone who got addicted to them, not good.
I just do a salt water flush after the liver flush, and then I do another salt water flush the next day, and that takes care of it for me. I know it makes a difference because I skipped the salt water flush step after what i thought was a so-so Liver flush, and i had toxicity problems for a week. So the salt water flush may work better for you, plus it is affordable!!!
Maybe Liver Flushing is not the answer! Don't focus too much on it... maybe there is another route that would work better. I have been doing a lot of searching, myself. Sometimes the answer is something one does not want to hear, like "bone broth". If you are a vegan, be careful with that too. I have been down that road and it did not seem to help anything. What I am saying is keep searching and keep an open mind. You might need to get your chakras balanced or something energy-oriented.

Yes, I think I underestimated the fact that things may get worse after you start flushing. That seems to be the experience of a substantial number of people, although I don't remember Andreas Moritz writing that.
I wonder if this has to do with the nature of the stones that block the main bile ducts. Every flush, if one releases stones, a new set of stones come to the main bile ducts from the smaller ducts at the back, if I am not mistaken. The new ones may cause more blockage of bile flow, or may disturb the liver in other ways because of their shape, vibrations, size, and so on. So that may cause the symptoms to get worse, or new symptoms to appear.
That, apart from autointoxication from released toxins in the gut and kidneys, is the only way I can explain why things get worse.
I am going to do my 4th flush this weekend. In flush 1 I expelled about 100 stones, in the second only about 20 but a lot of bile and chaff, in the third about 200. My problems got worse about 2 months after the 1st flush, in early February, and continued to be worse, through February when I did flush 2 and 3.Advertisement

This is a reply to # 2,311,098Hm, sounds like you are stirring things up in your liver...physical and emotional toxins. If it's of any comfort to you, I am doing my 9th flush this weekend also, and I too have been experiencing negative symptoms. In general, I have been feeling better since beginning the flushing process, but since the 8th flush, a few weeks ago, I have been having terrible insomnia and poor digestion (two of my many longstanding problems which i am trying to heal with flushing etc). It is very frustrating. Yes, I think it has something to do with whatever is getting pushed forward in the liver, and perhaps just moving an old stone along a duct can reactivate old symptoms, or it could be pushed into a sensitive spot to wait for the next flush...who knows?

This is a reply to # 2,310,113Colonics are a great healing tool - don't let the brainwash + misinformation fool you. The electrolyte or good bacteria, et al. issues are simply not true. It's WATER, for god's sake.
It usually takes a SERIES of colonics before the full length of the colon is reached. If you are getting good results, keep doing it without fear of overdoing it. Keep in mind you don't have to release a lot of matter to benefit. Often the body is dehydrated so the colon absorbs the water. This is helpful too - the dried, impacted matter is rehydrating for release later.
The liver stores lots of OLD stuff - colonics can be a big help.
Don't overthink it.
A great teacher of mine - through chronic illness years ago - had a colonic every day for over a year. Today she is in her 70's and glows like a teenager.Advertisement

Yes, I am going ahead with colonics for now. I take an electrolyte drink after every colonic, and so far I haven't felt any problems. Three colonics are over and I don't see any change in my health so far, but I realise that may be too little.

This is a reply to # 2,310,113While there is a method to the madness to reduce herxing, our bodies work synergistically. A cleaner colon can help reduce ill feelings when the liver is dumping toxins into it. Many say too many colonics can be harmful. It depends on how thick the crud is on the colon wall and how deep the toxins are lodged. There is also concern about washing out good flora. IMO, you cannot wash out good flora anymore than you can shower off healthy skin. Pathogens are taking up real estate and it's impossible to seed beneficial bacterial on a layer of mucus. If the colonics are productive and not causing problems and you feel better, that would be enough to tell me to employ them as your body dictates. There is a caviet. The deeper you clean, the greater the chances of breaching layers that will expose and redistribute toxins setting you into a domino effect. So many variables apply: health history, age, diet, environment, medications (included in health history to way back when). What makes you feel a stone is stuck. Constipation? Pain? Cramping? What does the hydrotherapist say? And is it a closed or open system? There is a gal in Tuscon that has package deals - one is an annual package allowing for daily visits. That should say something to how congested some of us are and the dedication to heal. Of course, without a proper diet and medicinal botanicals a healing isn't going to happen, because with a congested large colon, small intestine is often diseased and that is where the nourishment must be absorbed to begin to restore depleted nutrients.
