We could see the Scoliosis develop in our daughter long before puberty so I don't think that's odd...I think that's a good thing. They usually don't do the surgical proceedure until after puberty because the kids don't grow after the surgery... at least that's what we were told.

We're actually in Canada so can't help you there! So far we're happy with the ND we're working with but we're only into it a couple months. She has a gal that does craniosacral therapy in her office and I do want to try it but we think after this protocal we're on.

In all honesty btm66 the best we can do for ourselves, all of us, is to educate ourselves. I'm a tad bitter when it comes to the medical system...a long long story. That's what happens when our doctors become merely drug pushers for the large pharmacutical companies. Don't get me wrong there are some good doctors out there but...
Therefore, I say, READ READ READ!! This is a good site to start with. See about logging onto a FORUM for what ever problem you're researching. There you will find real people who have real experiences and good advice...or at least many opinions.
I found an epilepsy forum through Curezone and I learned more from the people on that site than I ever could on my own or through any doctor.
Sadly that's the way it is. You're forced to pay big money to see a Naturopath but at least they want to make you "better" not just mask your symptoms.
By the way, after my dad had a heart attack they put him on all kinds of drugs. A doctor in the "old country " told him it would be very bad for his kidneys and sure enough eventually he developed kidney problems and eventually that's what he died of.
We try not to take any drugs unless absolutely necessary.
