I'm currently taking 2 Tbl of flax seed oil a day, but never heard that I should be taking it with a sulfur-based protien. I'm sensitive to whey and soy so cottage cheese and tofu are not good for me. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I mix Flax-seed oil in orange juice. Flax-seed oil can be mixed with anything. its very good in salads. - Did you find a Substitute for Cottag... Hazel

This is a reply to # 67,354Yes there is a substitute for cottage cheese. It is yogurt. Plain yogurt without Sugar or any other sweetener. The recomenmdation for ussing cottage cheese it is because the synergetic effect that makes the flax seed oil to work more effectively due to the sulfur containt of cottage cheese. With yogurt you can do more or less the same but never with a fruit juise.
