Yes there is a substitute for cottage cheese. It is yogurt. Plain yogurt without Sugar or any other sweetener. The recomenmdation for ussing cottage cheese it is because the synergetic effect that makes the flax seed oil to work more effectively due to the sulfur containt of cottage cheese. With yogurt you can do more or less the same but never with a fruit juise.
