Re: O/T What is your take on dairy products?
I might give it a try, I mean, certainly the no grain/low starch thing, but I'm wondering how the diet is for people with a candida problem, given that you are still allowed fruits and honey, etc. But not allowed blackstrap molasses and seaweed, which I think have helped me a lot over the past month or so that I've been doing the kelp and BSM, altough I do wonder about the
Sugar contet in the molasses. I love the idea that you're allowed cheese, but I know from experience that's not my best choice. I'm getting a mucusy cough just thinking about it.... LOL!
What do you think of the Body Ecology diet? They do allow minimal starches - some well soaked, cooked, possibly fermented ancient grains in small quantities and some redskin potatoes. I was constantly hungry on that diet, even with the grains allowed.
When you make the yogurt - do you have to make it every day to keep it going, or can you take a break from it? Like use the end of the refrigerated last batch you made a week later, etc? With the kefir, I can refrigerate the grains in milk for short while, but they don't like it.
