Foot Detox Pads
There are older threads on the subject, but none that I could find to address what I want to know.
First of all, I bought them off ebay, So I wasn't paying over $2 a pad from the infomercial.
The emphasis of the commercial and posted ads is that you put on clean pads overnight and in the morning they are darkened in color from all the toxins they have pulled out. Lie, Lie, Lie.
Take a clean pad, add water to it and it will instantly change color.
Now, having said that, I am not saying they don't work, just that it is not toxins that are changing it's color. One set of pads turned brown, a different batch turned green. I guess it dedends on the combination and concenration of ingredients.
The question is, has anyone sent used pads to a lab for analysis.
One pad with just water added as a control and one pad worn overnight.
Edit: Came accross this after posting
