According to David Zava, PhD, absorption rates through the skin can vary with individuals by 30 fold. This is why the "iodine skin patch test" is not always a good indicator.
You may absorb a little Iodine or a lot, depending on your skin type and metabolism.
*If you are battling a potentially serious disorder such as fibrocystic breast disease, polycystic ovaries, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue or have a thyroid issues, it is not wise to rely on skin Iodine use only.
