Day 6
Today is Day 6, and although the day is not yet over, I am feeling discouraged about not seeing any weight loss from last night to this morning. I'm holding strong at 153. I'd really like to see the 140's by Monday. I think I need that to help motivate me into continuing.
The bitter sweet news of the weekend is that my father's birthday dinner has been cancelled since he's scheduled to be out of town longer than planned. At least I won't have to sit through a restaurant meal with family while struggling to keep my distance from the salad bowl.
I am now on my period and feel extremely bloated. Should I be taking anything to stimulate a movement? I had a tiny one today that could be considered a detox movement because of the characteristics. I just HATE this bloated feeling! Could being on my period cause a stall in weight loss?
One motivating factor came from my husband yesterday who said I looked like a stick compared to Day 1 on Monday. I continue to notice as well. My waist has shrunk almost 3
inches. AMAZING!
I maintain that I will break my fast on Friday the 15th since we have a friend coming in from out of town for the weekend. I'll stick to broths, raw veggies and juice. When will it be safe to enjoy some lean protein like chicken or fish? Hubby caught quite a halibut last night and I'd like to eat the next one he snatches from the ocean!
