I've hated my mother for a very long time, (ever sense I was in middle school, maybe even before that) with a lot of guilt and until recently, absolutely no clue as to why. When I figured out she was narcissistic, it made a lot of sense.
That is a very messed up punishment. If I had kids, I couldn't imagine watching them suffer like that. Nothing they could do could be that bad....Honestly, I wouldn't expect anybody who was emotionally or especially physically abused to love their parents.
