I took bloodroot daily for two years before I started givin my body break from it because I was afraid the disease would progress faster than my healing. I had been taking bloodroot for at least two years, maybe three when I found out about Iodine. Apparently all the liver flushing and bloodroot had cleaned me out pretty good because I had very few Iodine detox symptoms until I was pretty much mega dosing.
