Re: Chi Machine
That's funny, I have 6 people in my family, including my 250 lb son, and my 3 year old daughter, we all use the machine, and I'm 47, and none of us have ever been jarred, in fact, i've noticed that my back is truly feeling much better since I used it. My friend, that finally got me to get a Chi Machine has used his for 15 years, nearly every day, and he plays racquet ball two or three times a week; he is 45. His wife and two sons use the Chi Machine.
Within 3 days of using the Chi Machine, I was able to actually feel the "Chi" tingling sensation, throughout my body, and especially in the back of my neck. I have never been more relaxed by anything in my entire life. I also have an Ijoy massaging chair, and I stopped using it, unless I workout and my shoulder muscles get too tense. My back used to "creak" (a terrible sensation, when it feels like your cartlidge in your spine is rubbing together) whenever I turned, and I've also noticed that has all but disappeared too.

jarring motion - it has a fixed speed and a flat trajectory and is unpadded"
It's also interesting-didn't you know that the Chi Machine comes with a pad? My apologies if I have offended you, I had no idea you used one of the other machine's, but the pad comes with the machine, but the pictures don't show the pad...
Quote: "The Oxypro is about as likely to injure a person as a fresh glass of water;ONLY if someone throws one at you !"
I guess I don't understand that statement...perhaps you can tell us a bit more of what you mean please?
Quote: "The sum of my personal/non-medical advice:
Don't listen to anyone who advises you to be afraid of any of these machines.
If you have a bad or injured back you will wish to be sure you can use one,"
That's another funny thing about what you are saying, because you seem to be endorsing any other machine out there, other than the Chi Machine, and you seem to only have practical experience on the Oxypro.
I certainly don't want to offend you, and it looks like you have had a good experience on the Oxypro, so I will just have to take your word on your account of what you feel. There are many "cloned" copies of the Chi Machine, and as I understand it, the Chi Machine is patented , so they had to come up with variable speeds because they couldn't use (at least according to American law) the exact rythem that works with our bodies Lymphatic system.
If you need further information on what the Chi Machine does, there is another site that is an "authority site", at: http://Chinow.com. They are much more discriptive and have detailed information on how it detoxes, and actually aligns the spine.
Again, my apologies if I somehow offended you, that was definitely not my intent.
