Excess ear wax - vitamin deficiency?

Hi - I seem to remember reading somewhere that excessive earwax production (I seem to get more these days, or don't shed it easily, and it gives me vertigo when my ear gets clogged up) is down to a vitamin deficiency, but can't find the article any more.

Does anyone know of a vitamin deficiency that causes this?
