I am sure that you already know this, but sage and some other herbs are supposed to cleanse evil energy from a space. Or should I say, bring peace, love, etc. to a space. If you don't already know about smudging, I have inclued a link for you. This is just a link I found quickly so if you look, you may be able to find many just as good or better than this one.
