I wouldn't nebulize iodine...

Have you researched halogen gasses and their affect?

Chlorine gas, fluorine gas, bromine gas... Can cause fluid build up in the lungs among other things...

also, having read both your current issues and snakeaters, are you aware that these "symptoms" can be due to thyroid disorders?

And that thyroid disorders can be caused and/or exacerbated by too much iodine?

step back a bit...

Jeff and Dr. Jarvis' suggestions were likely more in line with reasonable use, especially if one is avoiding the other halides, unless of course we are using it as a medicine for brief periods of time in the mitigation of an already present disease.

Also remember that too much of something can directly cause those things you may be trying to mitigate due to a deficiency... and an over correction can put you right back where you started... or worse.
