Heavy Metal Toxicity

I totally agree with you that the dangerous level of heavy metal toxicity varies from person to person, small does not mean not dangerous. On top of that, the other troublesome part is there's no reliable way of detecting heavy metal toxicity. Not only are the number of autistic children on the rise, every other kid seem to have some kind of allergy one way or another, one has to wonder if it's the toxic env we live in coupled with the highly processed (yet another toxin) and nutritionally depleted food (even natural and organic) we eat everyday.

Watching an episode on the making of pasta, I realize modern pasta (the smooth type) are shaped using teflon coated mill/blades. And the mill/blades needs to be changed every few mths or so because the grains would literally wear them out. It makes you wonder how much contaminates you're eating even in a bag of organic whole grain brown rice pasta. Even the purest is not that pure! I suppose the lesson is when it comes to food and supplements (oral or transdermal), the goal is always to strive for the purest. That being said, although Ancient Mineral is not as contaminates free as Nigari ON PAPER, I'm still inclined towards Ancient Mineral for the reasons I mentioned in the other thread...

Dr. Mark Sirrus really raised my concern with pharmaceutical grade supplements. When it comes to supplements, I always try to go for the pharmaceutical grade and avoid any form of stearate, cellulose binders and the like. Apparently, that's not enough. The processing can introduce other contaminates and most likely heavy metals. It makes you wonder why supplements from Health Force and Metagenics cost 10x more than your local drug store counterparts.
