We should be given the option.

I have my own e-mail server and a program to filter by relevance as well as the ability to permanantly keep e-mails for future reference. Using the e-mail on curezone takes me twice as much time so I am not able to contribute as much as before.

Many of my unread e-mails stored on curezone have already been deleted due to aging so I am not even aware of them and can not respond.

Also, it might have been nice to know before this took place.
