Re: Preservative Theory EDIT
Have you read the
Hulda Clark book
The Cure For All Diseases ?
Your theory is at the other end of what she says, that it takes the chemicals/toxins etc for the
parasite eggs to hatch out. There's alot of things we are exposed to in our modern day world that we aren't even aware are toxins- not just in foods.
Interesting theory to consider though.
IMO..It's when the body/immune system becomes weakened for whatever reasons, (including extreme stress) that I believe the
parasites are able to become such a problem like many of us have found ourselves with.
Plus the viruses/bacterias/fungi and other pathogens.
Because of the chronic, sick liver I've had to work on for a while now, and finding the load of different types of
parasites living in there, I think that when the liver is compromised for whatever reasons, (because it is the organ that has the major job of detoxing everything)--that any kind of undesirable chemicals/toxins aren't going to be able to be processed out as they should.
preservatives included. Backed up toxins create an environment
parasites thrive in, and if Hulda's right and the parasites are laying eggs, and the chemicals/toxins are causing eggs to hatch out in different organs...
I've gotten to the point of wondering just how healthy the organic vegetables/fruits are too- when people think they are eating healthy because it's organic. Exactly how fresh IS the lettuce before it is bought? I used to eat alot of salads if we went out to eat..not anymore. Not just because of the chemicals/
preservatives , but how long ago was it picked?? I have a friend that got salmonella from a salad bar when she was pregnant, and not only was she extremely sick, but the baby was born with permanent complications they felt were caused because of it.
We're exposed to parasites and toxins our entire lives.
IMO (in my opinion) much of this stuff is passed on to us in the womb too.
My mom had terrible eating habits, and I'm sure she had extreme nutritional/mineral deficiencies. She was also one of those people Bob Beck says has a "death wish", and in spite of not feeling well all of her life, she would have never considered taking control of her own health. There are people who run to MD's all the time, but then there are those people that put on blinds and don't want to acknowledge they have health issues they might have to do something about. My mom was the latter. I don't know how many small heart attacks she had prior to the final massive one. It didn't do any good to try to talk to her about doing something for herself, because it was like talking to a brick wall. Making changes requires effort, dedication, and determination. I honestly don't remember her ever eating fruit/vegetables (maybe a salad once in a while), or drinking water. She lived on coffee. She wouldn't consider any kind of exercise or physical activity. The work she did was extremely stressful, but she also added her own unnecessary stress in her life by being a procrastinator that wouldn't deal with things until it became a crisis. Like ignoring the problem, meant there was no problem, which only escalated everything.
As children, what were we fed? Did mom have amalgams/heavy metals herself? Did mom smoke? Mine did. So did everyone else I grew up around. As kids, my cousins and I snitched cigarettes and would hide out and smoke every day too. I've never thought about that before, but as common as smoking was for years, how many women back then were smoking while pregnant, or were smoking while nursing- exposing children to 2nd hand smoke.
Just something more to consider. Alot of this stuff we are dealing with now, has been with us for years. Did we live in a toxic house growing up? Did we live in an area where mold is a problem?
EDIT: How could I forget? How many of us have grown up with pets too? In my case, livestock and animals my entire life.
